After having three consecutive games postponed, on Saturday Greenhill FC lost 4-0 at Continental Star Reserves in Division 2 of the Midland Combination.
A blustery day and bobbly pitch lead to poor conditions but Greenhill could not use this as an excuse for a below par performance.
There was little in the game until Continental took the lead on the half hour after a miscued shot landed in the path of a grateful continental player, who slotted home.
After conceding the first goal GFC saw little of the game and after Continental scored a second goal after the break only one result looked likely.
The home side added two more goals to finish up 4-0 winners.
Next Saturday Greenhill travel to Feckenham Reserves in the league, 2pm KO.
