Rushall assistant keeping calm

Rushall OlympicRushall Olympic assistant manager Chris Brindley won’t be taking anything for granted when his side face Rothwell Town tomorrow.

The Pics enjoyed a 6-0 win over the Northamptonshire side in their last league outing on January 8 and Brindley will be hoping for a repeat against a team who are struggling two places off the bottom.

“We had a good win down there, but there are no easy games,” Brindley said.

“They’re fighting to stop in the division and anyone can beat anyone in this league, but it’s a game we’re looking to win.”

The Dales Lane side will be without two of their strikers for the home clash.

Junior Brown has a calf strain, which he incurred in training prior to the

Birmingham Senior Cup match with Walsall, while Paul Szewczyk is still suffering with a knee problem.

“Paul’s had a wretched couple of seasons with injury and he won’t be available for another two weeks.”
