Could you be the next Erin O’Connor? Is your other half hotter than Brad Pitt? Well if you think you’ve got what it takes to make it big in the modelling industry, a Black Country model agency wants to hear from you.
Sapphires Model Management has teamed up high street fashion business Bestseller, which is behind the high street brands Vero Moda and Jack and Jones, to launch a search for new modelling talent.
Throughout the next five weeks scouts from the Wolverhampton firm will be visiting Jack and Jones and Vero Moda stores in 12 cities across the nation – including Birmingham – to try and find the next big face of the future.
Entrants will be whittled down to one male and one female from each city, who will each be invited to attend a grand final.
The winners will get a 12-month modelling contract with Sapphires Model Management, a professional fashion shoot and £1,000 to spend in store at Vero Moda and Jack and Jones.
And if that’s not enough, they will also be treated to a luxury two-night weekend stay in Birmingham’s Radisson SAS hotel. Sapphires, based in Wulfruna Street, is run by Neely Reyes, a University of Wolverhampton graduate.
The nationwide search starts at the Vero Moda store in Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre on Saturday.
Scouts will be in store from 1pm to 5-pm taking applications. App-licants must be 17 to 30 and free the weekend of March 7-10. For details visit www.sapphiresmodel.com/modelsearch.
