A woman has been killed after being struck by a car on the Penn Road near the Fox and Goose public house In Wolverhampton this morning.
The victim, who is not being identified at this stage, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Penn Road was closed on the city-bound carriageway causing severe congestion during rush hour and is set to remain shut until inquiries at the scene are completed.
