Wolves have extended Graham Stack’s loan from Reading until the end of the season.
Stack said he was delighted to be staying at Molineux and hoped to win a permanent deal at the end of the season
The former Arsenal goalkeeper has just returned to raining after a cartilage injury.
Stack said: “I’m happy to be staying with Wolves.
“My contract at Reading is up at the end of the season so ideally I would have liked a permanent move.
“But with three senior keepers here already I understand that it would be unusual for a club to sign a fourth.
“So I’ll have to see what my options are at the end of the season.
“With Carl (Ikeme) fit now, and Wayne (Hennessey) doing so well, it’s going to be really competitive.
“But I enjoy that and I’m not one to shirk a challenge. I’ve got to work hard to win myself a permanent contract next season.
“I’m back out on the pitches and I’ll be spending this week working up to full training. My knee feels great.”
Stack has played just two League Cup ties for Wolves since joining in August.
