A mysterious “flying Dorito-shaped” object which was seen by dozens of people just before Christmas has been spotted again – this time in the skies above Lower Gornal.
The strange unexplained flying object was seen by residents in Wallows Wood, off The Straits, at around 6.15pm on Tuesday.
Householders described the object as looking like an “arrowhead” with three orange lights arranged in the shape of an isosceles triangle.
Residents watched it move slowly across the sky before it disappeared from view in the direction of Wolverhampton.
It is the second time the triangular object has been spotted flying over the Black Country in recent weeks.
Scores of people contacted the Express & Star after seeing a UFO in the skies above Wednesfield and Dudley in December and Stourbridge-based UFO Research Midlands was deluged with calls and emails from onlookers who witnessed the object.
Lower Gornal resident Peter Wasdell, aged 57, said he could not believe his eyes when he saw the object.
“The dog started barking and when my wife went outside to find out what was going on she saw the object in the sky and called me out to have a look,” he said.
“There were three orangey lights in a triangle formation. They weren’t shaped like an equilateral triangle, more like an isosceles triangle, and shaped like an old fashioned arrow head. I don’t think it was a plane because we didn’t hear any noise.
“My daughter and her boyfriend and the next door neighbours all saw them and we watched them for about 15 minutes before they disappeared behind the trees.”
Paranormal enthusiast Craig Lowe, who is a member of the Birmingham UFO group, said the area was a “hotspot” for unexplained activity. Mr Lowe, who captured December’s sighting on videotape, said he believed the object could be some sort of military aircraft.
Birmingham International Airport spokesman John Morris said the airport took all reports of UFOs seriously. “We had a couple of inquiries before Christmas following the first sightings over Halesowen,” he revealed.

The aircraft photographed looks like a Lockheed Martin X-33 type or the Boeing Joint fighter which has vertical lift. These are US in origin not alien.

Hi Im the person who had the pleasure of seeing the objects i can say that the picture what was in the paper wasnt what we saw it did state this but what we saw was the same shape but fully orange in colour and not one but three so im afraid they didnt get that correct.The objects we saw were traveling in line but quite a distance apart.

I am a former member of the US Air Force. I had heard rumors in the ranks about UFOs or Aliens back in the early 1970s (supposedly the evidence of any crashed ufos or alien bodies were literally kept on ice at polar region installations).
I worked hard after leaving the Military to establish if there was a basis for Truth in these Rumors, the sources were close to the Communications units reporting for USAF outposts around the world for info-sharing throughout the USA. That was how the individual talking to me had learned of the ufo or ufos and alien bodies. He had read the transferring wired highly classified reports and was sending them to their next destination.
Why do I bring this up ? It’s due to the fact that if NASA has lied about UFOs and the NASA mission to examine the agenda of visiting UFOs to our planet then you will have a very hard time believing any thing NASA will tell you.
Finally, in this latest example you have NASA not even able to process a survey, that it used over 11 million dollars of gov’t. funds to do, to obtain info from pilots…do you really think NASA did not have their own agenda? As the actions of NASA have shown they do not wish to tell the truth and if ordered by congressional oversight committees to do so, NASA performs badly…There is a reason for this behavior.

I found this report very interesting. Whether it was a genuine alien spacecraft or a hoax or a military plane has yet to be confirmed. But one thing I know, and that’s that the people seem to be interested in this stuff. The people would love to know whether we are alone or whether we have neighbours in Space. I think it’s a question everyone wants to find an answer to. Well done to the Express & Star for this highly interesting report!

My 2 own major sightings convinced me years ago.
1st is when I saw the 6 metal spheres flying in a triangle formation over my head…creepy…but the 2nd scared me. One HUGE triangle craft slicing through the clouds on a quiet and cold Kansas night.
I could see the clouds rolling under the craft as it passed through. Even scarier….it was in the process of cloaking itself while it entered the clouds…then just disapeared.
You know what that means?
They fly over our heads, unseen, anytime they want.

Two years ago this coming Easter, my son and I had an unobstructed thirty second view of the giant (quarter mile long)triangle fly by from west to east. We were camping in the desert east of San Diego. I follow with interest the other sightings and reactions before and since our sighting. I’m totally convinced that it is a military aircraft. It was just so unusual in size and shape.
JO- I GUESS IT WAS A JET.AS MILTARY FLYING IS LOW.AT TIMES.

I have also seen it yesterday night in wolverhampton city centre 09-02-08 I actually didn’t believed in ufo’s but what I saw makes me doubt, it was a black triangel with 3 orange lights, on in every corner and moved quite fast and soundless and didn’t look anything like a plane or a stealth fighter.
