Rock legend Noddy Holder is set to be inducted into the Birmingham Broad Street Walk of Stars this weekend.
Video journalist Wendy Lloyd went along to meet Noddy ahead of Sunday’s ceremony.

Nice to see Slade get some recognition at last, now how about a statue of Noddy, Jim, Dave & Don outside the Wolverhampton Train Station.

great i heard there are 50 beanie hats being made to celebrate the day ,i asked about them and they are £5 but only first come first serve..gonna need em ..

His voice and the fantastic sound of SLADE`s music are the reasons, that I became a SLADE-fan since a long time !
I wish for Noddy and his family as also for all the other members of SLADE a MERRY X-MAS and a Happy New Year !
By the way ! We founded a DON POWELL FANCLUB at Germany in September this yeat ! We meet SLADE still 2-3 times every year !

Nice to see ya Mr Holder. Wow, how I miss the “old days” travelling and touring around UK and Scandinavia! I’m still a big Slade and Wolves supporter (since back in ‘72). I agree with mr Jordan about putting up a statue in Wolverhampton.
I try to visit Wolverhampton every second year to watch Wolves and visit “the Trumpet” in High Street bilston for a local beer or two!!
