Under 11s
Nathan Robinson bagged four goals and James Ireson two as Coven United booked their place in the Group E Charity Cup final with an impressive victory over Bentley Youth while a brace from Turner and a strike from Stevens helped Warstones Wanderers (Lions) beat F.C. Perton to edge closer to the Group F final.
Willenhall Town Reds were unlucky to bow out of the South Staffs Cup by the odd goal in seven at Wordsley Wasps.
Under 12s
FC Strollers have reached the halfway mark of their league season with an unblemished record after a hat trick from Oliver Bragg, a brace from Joe Davies and goals from Chad Shinton and Rhys Shaw helped them beat Willenhall Town with Charlie Arnold, Sam Downes and Jake Cox on target for Willenhall.
Two goals apiece from Jordan Palmer and Amarni Thomas and one each from Anton Perrin and Amrik Sahota helped Punjab United beat Pendeford Park to leapfrog them into second place in the Third Division with Mitchell Hudson-Smith and Sam Wesley replying.
The top of the table clash in the Second Division saw leaders Bustleholme Athletic beat second placed Bilston Wanderers.
A great start with an early goal from Joshua Heath saw Bustleholme state their intentions of keeping their 100% league record intact.
A late first half goal by Ben O’Keefe increased the pressure on Bilston who upped their pace with a quick powerful shot at goal only to be thwarted by Bustleholme’s keeper Anthony Maddock who was determined to keep a clean sheet.
The second half saw another goal by O’Keefe with Bustleholme’s defence cutting out any attack on goal early to leave Bilston constantly defending their own half against relentless pressure.
Bantock Vipers moved level on points with Bilston Wanderers after they beat Tipton Olympic with goals from Lee Gorman and Bobby Rowe.
Goals from Erik Kursarak and Koldian Beqa helped First Division leaders Warstones Wanderers (South) beat Wednesbury Oak Colts to maintain their unbeaten record with Conner Cox on target for the visitors while four goals from Amarni Allen, a hat trick from Demitri Dunkley, a brace from Nick Bahia and goals from Keanan Dunkley and Mitchell Woodward helped New Park Village beat Oldbury Lions to move into second place in the Premier Division.
There was little joy for the league’s sides in the South Staffs Cup.
Eurofast were unlucky to lose out at Hednesford Town by the odd goal in five while Willenhall went out at Bilbrook Juniors West and Hill Top Rangers bowed out at Hawkins Sports while first division NC Sports lost to Valley Rangers.
Under 14s
Second Division Coven United picked up their first league points of the season with an impressive display against Moorcroft Raiders.
Guvinder Kumar and Zak Fearon bagged two goals apiece for Coven with strikes from George Tatthin, Michael Potts and Paul Bousefield completing the scoring.
Adam Bowdley replied for the Raiders while goals from Josh Breeze, Jamie Holder and Aidan Smith helped Premier Division leaders Hill Top Rangers to an odd goal in five victory over New Park Village with Joe Crutchley and Chad Winfield replying while a hat trick from Preece and a strike from Houseman helped East Park Youth beat Tettenhall Wood Athletic while a brace from Wilson and a strike from Butler helped Sandwell Dynamos beat Wolverhampton Development with Cartwright replying.
A brace from Benton and a strike from Hodgetts helped F.C. Perton to a share of the spoils with First Division leaders Beechdale Swifts with Tipton, with a brace and Speed on target for the Swifts while Derbyshire bagged the all important goal as second placed Perton and Codsall United beat Tipton Town and a brace from Lee and goals from Sadique and Beale helped BNJSFC beat Smethwick Sikh Temple to move above them into third spot with Duggle on the score sheet for the visitors while goals from Bowkett and Bunger helped Sedgley White Lions beat Tipton Olympic with Nelson replying.
In the South Staffs Cup Warstones Wanderers (North) were unlucky to lose out at Chaddersley Corbett with an own goal all that separated the two sides while Westwood was on target as first division Warstones Wanderers (South) went out at Shelfield Hatricks.
Under 15s
A brace from Parkes and goals from Nngarize and Bentley helped Bilbrook Juniors (East) to a comfortable victory at Norton Canes in the third round of the Staffs County Youth Under 15s Sunday Cup while second division F.C Strollers were unlucky to go out by the odd goal in five at Audley Juniors and Featherstone went out to Wednesbury Sports Union with Persall netting for Featherstone.
The top of the table clash in the First Division saw Springvale bounce back for their first defeat of the season last week to put on an impressive display at Park Hill Boys two goals apiece from Quarry and Wood and one each from Crawford, Abraham and Turner helped them leapfrog Park Hill back to the top of the table while a brace from Goodhead and a strike from Northall helped FC Perton beat Woodsetton by the odd goal in five with Hollard bagging both goals in reply and it was honours even when Smethwick United entertained Tipton Olympic with Smethwick’s share of the six goals coming from Durlay, with two, and Staple.
In the Second Division five goals from O Green and three from J Green helped second placed Bilbrook Juniors (North Star) close the gap on the leaders with a fine victory over Warstones Wanderers while a double from Mae and strikes from Pemberton and Saunders helped Punjab United beat Penn Rovers in a seven goal thriller with Davis, with a brace, and Law replying and a hat trick from Pullin and goals from Allen and Cooper helped Darlaston Town to victory at Tipton Warriors with Danra replying while All Saints and Ashbourne Raiders shared the points and four goals with Mills and Crozers netting for All Saints.
Under 16s
A brace apiece from Dan Parkes and Shane Maydew helped Wednesbury Town Celtic to an impressive victory at Bilbrook Juniors in the third round of the Staffs County Youth Under 16s Sunday Cup.
They are joined in the next round by Pelsall Villa who beat Yew Tree in a ten goal thriller with a brace from Ryan Wilkins and goals from Joe Titley, Nick Hadley, Mitchell Teece and Callum Griffiths. Second Division Sedgley Alliance Swifts were unlucky to go out at Walsall Wood by the odd goal in five with Nathan Cain and Daniel Lucches on target for the Swifts while third division Beechdale Swifts went out at local rivals Beechdale Juniors by the narrowest of margins with Ben Adkins strike almost seeing them through to the next round.
Two goals apiece from Oliver Wagstaff and Luke Hart and one from Dan Coles helped First Division leaders beat Wednesfield to maintain their unbeaten record while unbeaten Hill Top Rangers Colts remain level on points with Sedgley after they beat Penn Rovers with a brace from Kevin Ward and a goal Aaron Guar with Nathan Henry replying.
Goals from Liam Rutter, Sam Shinn and Marcus Moreton helped Wednesbury Sports Union beat J.M. United to move into second spot in the Third Division with Ryan Speakman replying while Jordan Jones bagged all four goals as Sedgley Rovers beat Darlaston Town with Martin Taylor and Byron Millington replying.
Under 17s
Parkes Hall Lions were to bow out of the B’ham County F.A. Sunday Youth Cup.
A sterling performance in difficult conditions against Waseley Rangers saw them on top for most of the game but an outstanding performance from Waseley keeper meant they couldn’t convert a sting of chances with the Rangers taking the tie with the only goal of the game.
In the Presidents Cup goals from Wright, Hadley, Foster, Austin, Taylor and Forrest helped Castle Rangers beat AFC Wombourne with Buckland and Birch replying while a brace from Parkes and goals from Price, Sidhu and Pope helped Argyle beat Darlaston Town Colts with Gabbidon replying and goals from Wakeman, Gibbons and Aston helped premiership outfit Bustleholme beat first division F.C. Perton Pumas with Corns and Evans replying.
