A car dealer who claims to have spotted a “Dorito shape” flying over the Black Country has told of the moment he spotted the unexplained object.
Paranormal enthusiast Craig Lowe, filmed what he says was a triangular shaped UFO in the skies over his home.
The 32-year-old from Quinton works at All Electrics on the Forge trading estate, Halesowen.
He was in his back garden one evening last week when he said he saw three red lights in the sky and an object he claims was about three times the size of a football pitch.
“It was absolutely enormous. At first I noticed a plane on the horizon and the I could see some faint red lights,” said Mr Lowe, who is a member of Birmingham UFO.”I knew they were not the strobe lights of an aircraft and they seem to be travelling towards me quite slowly.
“I rushed inside to get my video camera. It was huge because it blacked out the stars and it must have been about 35,000ft high.
“The footage is inconclusive. The problem is I was filming a black object against a black sky and my video camera is not great quality.”

I saw this!!!!
I was in Perton on Friday evening and have absolutely no idea what it was.
It was massive!!!! At first I thought the rear light was a seperate object before I realised it was just one gigantic one.
Normally id be rubbishing such stories but I have no idea what it was myself!

Now that you have seen something that defies normal or rational explanation, i hope people like you or the ‘former’ you would have more of an open mind of such a phenonmena as UFO’s.

I on’t like the image they used from Dec 1st article as that image was from the belgium sightings in the 90’s. Need to see this footage.
This sighting sounds like one I saw on Discovery, which was similar size and shape, and observed by three separate ( two highway patrol officers) and a householder early morning near one of the american air bases.
The police know of it, at least 10 police cars at the junction of Gunstone lane loking at it thursday evening ,it stopped for two minutes.

Bit misleading..it was an unidentified object, not a Dorito. The man should report this sighting and post his evidence, without which it’s hearsay. This is not the first time this year, that the Black Country has witnessed such objects.

As reported in the actual newspaper the footage is inconclusive as a black object against a black sky could not be seen, camera was not of professional standard. Too many witnesses to say its hearsay.

I didn’t see it, but i heard it looked more like a pickled onion space raider than a dorito.
Joking apart, no-one will give any credibility to a story like this where something is being compared to a ‘Dorito’. It’s plain stupid!!

Very bad reporting to call it a dorito.. first its advertising..second the craft was apparently triangle shaped..so call it a triangle shaped ufo..not a bloomin dorito. I think all this talk of doritos etc. Is obscuring the possibility that a very big, object flew over a densely populated area. Why? is the question, not whether it happened. In the early 80’s a friend of mine said he saw a similar thing near Brierley hill flats. Triangular, covered in lights and the size he said of 3 of the blocks put together. I believe it was tracked from Cannock by several people. I do hope someone out there is collating the info from this sighting because I for one think it’s important.

And I did not say the UFO looked like a’Dorito’, what I did say was that at arms length the commercial Airliner was the size of a dot and that the UFO at arms length was the size of a ‘Dorito’ crisp.
You are all very misinformed. This ‘Dorito’ is an aircraft. Its name, is the TR3-B, or Big Black Delta. It is a next generation war machine from the ‘Complex’. It is definitely important. Probably the most important story as yet untold in human history. Clear evidence, along with the thousands of other sightings all over the world, that either somebody on this planet is spending huge amounts of misappropriated public funds on secret technology, or we are being visited by alien lifeforms. Personally, I suspect a bit of each is a distinct possibility and we are all having the wool pulled over our eyes by officialdom.

You’ve obviously not done your homework Adair. It would easily have found Orange chips before it got as far as Brierly Hill on a straight line trajectory from Cannock. So therefore, it must be a UFO unfamiliar with the area. Probably got lost while looking for the Ashmore Pub in Wednesfield.

For those who have felt it necessary to deride this particular case i feel it necessary to impart a few facts. The object sighted has now been sighted by a number of witnesses from different locations on the same evening. We have the object tracked from the south west to the south midlands thereafter northwest to north midlands and thereafter returning to the city before heading southwest. The allegation of a hoax can easilly be refuted - simply a journalist lifting a common image of a triangle off the bbc black country website which had a nice article about our group and UFO’s in general. No image has been supplied to the news media from any of the witness to this object as none exists -
the footage recorded is academic as the witness testimony stands alone. Should anything be revealed once properly analysed then this would just confirm what has already been stated. Finally, the aptly named ‘Dorito UFO’ will no doubt enable those that have seen the object to easilly find the route to reporting it via the net.

ian hayden, this thing your friend saw in the 80’s, it was covered in random lights or in a pattern? Various color lights? Did it make a loud pulsing noise? Did it also look like a city in the sky as it flew away?
I only ask because I’ve seen something like what I just described and your keyword of “covered in lights” brought back the memory. The only explaination people have given me are “a huge group of airplanes flying together at the same speed with weird lights all over them” or “a group of blimp s with lights all over them”.
