Almost 60 years after he last lifted it, Wolves goalkeeping legend Bert Williams has been re-united with the FA Cup.
Just weeks ahead of the much-anticipated launch of his book the 87-year-old saw the cup once more at his home in Shifnal.
Video journalist Victoria Hoe went along to meet Bert.
His book, The Cat In Wolf’s Clothing, features never before seen photographs and press cuttings featuring the man many believed was the saviour not only of Wolves but also of England.
It will be available priced £14.99 from West Midlands Collectors Centre, Heantun House, Salop Street on 01902 772570.

Fantastic player and man. I got goose bumps listening to Bert Williams reliving our glory days!
The best goalie ever, a perfect gentleman who is an example to all young players…I hope many of them get the chance to read his book.
All the best Bert. With the launch of your book. Thank you for sharing your memories. You are truely a credit to Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
What a great, great man. He’s a terrific person, warm-hearted and obviously proud to have been part of such a great team. Thanks for sharing your memories, Mr. Cat Williams.
Congratulations Bert Williams on the launch of your book. One of the best goalkeepers in the world in his day which i had the privilege to see in the great wolves side. Thanks Bert.
Good Stuff,
I have seen some of Berts saves first hand - its a pity England can’t find a goalkeeper of his calibre today!!
He was without doubt the best goalkeeper I have ever seen!
