So it took just the 12 months for Wolverhampton’s finest to think up the trick of leaving your colours on our seats! Well done sunshine, give it another 12 months and you might think up a decent song.

Nice touch with the carrier bags there, simply albion were not good enough !!!

good performance. hennessy is a legend and i think we should have won. we bosed the middfield and for 15 -20 mins of the second half they didn’t have anychance and gettin the ball

Great photo, more of the same please, Love it when we make mugs of them idiotic boggies.

    What goes around comes around.

  5. Wanderer said:

Decent song Kegworth? We sang more than your lot, although, you probably wasn’t at the game to hear.

  6. scottywolves said:

with regards to the song issue - i thiught albions support was woeful today. You will have to remind me of some of the songs that you sang today because i really cant remember any. The attitude of the Albion fans was awful i travelled with 12 Albion fans and 5 Wolves and you just expected to walk over us. The power is starting to shift again we have had our time out of the limelight in the black country derbys but i can see us getting some good results in the future far to say i would be as arrogant as the majority of albion fans are at this moment in time. I really think it is jealousy at times becuase whether they like it or not Wolves have the bigger fan base and ultimately the greater potential in the future to succeed

  7. wolvesinwales said:

Look through the baggie forums and they admit themselves that their support was very poor.

  8. Happy_Baggie said:

scotty - a nil nil may feel like a power shift to you - but we just look at it as another hard working side came with a game plan and nicked a point.

You should get beamed back up pal.

  9. Tipton Baggie said:

    Well how stupid
You celerbrate like you have won when you have only drawed!
You sing songs about Wembley when we beat you to get to it.
    And you copy us.

On the football side of things I think we just about shaded it.

  10. Fight!!! said:

    sour grapes again KegDog.

You thought that you would walk it today.
Reminds me of the Derby Play off game.

You had no passion in your team and fans.
    you Know It KegDog.
    What about this song.
You thought you would win, you were wrong…you were wrong!!!

    Correct Scotty.

    scottywolves spot on mate

    Up The Wolves!

  13. gazza said:

I have to agree with Scottywolf. Having been to the game today Albion fans are arrogant and think their team is better than it is. At times you have to remind them that the Hawthorns is not the Theatre of Dreams and Gera will never be Ronaldo. Funny though listening to them rant on with their heads in the clouds.

  14. Wolvensam said:

Why did we have to stoop to their level? Bloody hell.

  15. Nikwolves said:

You lot really thought ud walk over us didn’t you. Well take that 2 chances u had all game and 1 we gave you by a penalty.

Think i read in the paper last night comments from here saying you would beat us 4 or 5. hahahahahah

    Keep dreaming sandwell boys.

  16. Wolves the Champions (07/08) said:

I thought we were going to see an Albion side which play like Brasil.

In trouble now with Miller out for at least 6 weeks.

I bet the Championship are quaking, knowing Beattie and Bednar will be your strike force, how bad are they, are you sure they are pro’s?????

  17. Wolves the Champions (07/08) said:

Well said Scotty, i have to agree, the only problem is no Albion fan will crawl out of there holes to read your comments.
No doubt they’ll bring last season into when all the banter starts, They just loveliving in the past.

  18. baggie Boy said:

jon 3 how can you say you deserved to win because you bossed the midfield for 20 mins in the second half what about the other 70????

LCW I thought you where older than that proad of plastic bags thats kids stuff “what goes around comes around ” there plastic bags on seats its hardly exiting stuff.

Wolves came to do a job and did it 5 in midfield we did that 4/5 years ago under megson awful to watch but it does get results. I personly think we just edged it probably deserved all 3 points on another day we could have scored 3/4 goals thats football! but on the whole a draw was a fair result.

At least we can get on with the rest of the season now this overhyped media farce is over. Its should just be another game like any other 3 points are at stake thats all

  19. Jonah said:

Hennessy a legend based on one penalty save? Thats stretching it !! Very good keeper though.
No doubt Mick Kearns is another Wolves legend (penalty save from Peter Barnes in another 0-0 draw at The Hawthorns in 1980). Although as most of the current Wolves fans did not start supporting the club until after 1990, you’ve probably have never heard of him!!

  20. Bakerbaggie said:

    6 YAWN!!!!!!

  21. jon said:

to rite. i was rite next to them on the right of us and all game apart frm the penalty we never heard a peep and they soon shut up wen the missed. hennesy legend. gr8 support wolves boys!!

Bigger fan base? Certainly a much larger catchment area (cannock telford black country etc…)and no near rivals - only walsall! But for all that you only get a few hundred more than albion who have only black country area to attract support from as villa & blues have brum.

    Hardly Real Madrid are you!

West Brom fans didn’t turn up, they stood with their hands in their pockets.

  24. baggieken said:

Scottywolves………did you actually go to the game..?…I think you went to fantacy Island instead you muppet !!!!…hahahahahaaaa….how the hell do you come to the assumption that any Baggies fan would be jealous of a team that play kick and rush…?…what a load of drivel !!!!!…with the silky skills throughout our squad we’ll do you on your own turf later….!!…be much more satisfying that will….!!…You see..!!!!…hahahahaaaaa…what a joker !!!

  25. baggies said:

sure albion done that at the custard bowl, 0 -0 and celebrated like they won the fa cup

  26. Loyal-Cannock-Wolf said:

    1. Thats rich from a fan who’s best song is Albion, Albion, Albion, Albion…and so on. All your lot do is steal our songs and adapt them for yourselves, Always **** on the old gold and black ring any bells?

Thats just how pathetic your fans are.

  27. brumwolf said:

hahaha luv it - that pic is almost as good as when derby scored in the play off final- wolves are a better team than west brom easy.

  28. Cyril Randle said:

I read the above childish rubbish almost in sheer disbelief! This was a hard fought but unmemorable game between two well matched adversaries, the boxer versus the slugger. Having watched Everton demolish Sunderland in Match of the Day I dread to think what will happen to either of us should we be promoted. Enjoy the game for what it was, an average SECOND DIVISION match with a few good moments.

  29. south wales baggie said:

i think it shows how far wolves standards have dropped ove recent seasons that they celebrate a 0-0 away like winning the fa cup.
all that matters is the final league placings.
wolves wont even be in the play offs .

  30. robhindmarsh said:

we according to the after match report on 5 live quote “wolves did a job stifdled the ablion team of idea’s and quieten there fans” was steve forgett as commentator thou

by the way baggie boy it must have escaped your attention that you the home side went 4-5-1 to start with very brave of tony megson

  32. Andy said:

albion got lucky to get away with a point wolves fully deserved the points against one of the most negative sides in the league

    well done wolves

  33. robhindmarsh said:

just point to real black country boy that there is an article from the late 80’s which show the local council moving the boundry between brum and sandwell from the halfords lane to the woodman so the hawthorns could be in west bromwich, and a recent item on central news is west brom in brum, and final does the name west brummage not give you a clue ya brummie muppet

  34. baggie boy said:

29 where you at the game ?? 4 4 2 albion started gera and miller as strikers so how do you get a 4-5-1 from that

31 I live in the same post code as the albion ground and live and live about half a mile from wednesbury town center so is is my area birmingham !! if so you will have to stop calling us sandwell town because we would be in the city of birmingham you cant have your cake and eat it my boy!!

5 and 26 if you want to sing go on x factor i go for the football myself.

I really and truly cant beleive wolves are so excited about getting a draw was it that big of a game for you ( and I am not saying that to wind anyone up) .

  35. Jonah said:

    22. Agreed. Trouble is that most of them actually think that they are as big as Real Madrid, and they call us arrogant!!
Wolves were a big club 50 years ago along with Preston North End, Blackpool, Huddersfield Town, etc.

AND WEST BROMWICH ALBION !!!!! Our 1953/4 played football not unlike ToMo wants now although we did have players all of proven Division 1 quality and they were the ‘Team of the Century’ according to the London Press of that time. Oh, and before The Wulfies start squealing, they had a superb team too. The Black Country was the place to be for football in the 50s.

    “Well how stupid!”
Find an English dictionary with the word ‘drawed’ in it and then tell us all what it means. While you’re at it, look up those other well known English words ‘catched’ and ‘taked’!
Oh and then try to find the extra ‘r’ in ‘celebrate’!

On the spelling side of things I think we shaded it!

You just cannot believe the rubbish spouted by the Orange Tatters can you!

Still they deserved a draw in thier Cup Final !

  42. Stourbaggies said:

nbevr read such a load of rubbish from all these dingles. You would have thought they had won the league they caught us on an off day with some reserves in the team and they get a draw.Wait till we play them at the custarde bowl with a full squad and we will see who is the better sided. Its still 4 wins and draw to us in the last 6 matches

  43. proudwolf said:

have sandwell ever been a big club with the likes of WOLVES preston, blackpool huddersfield etc. I was at the game , the home team had about 20 minutes in the 1st half that was it really, best chance of game was olifinjanas header, gr8 save off henerssey to tip it onto post. desent game. Wolves certainly didnt deserve to lose & could of easily had all 3

  44. leigh said:

yes jonah, and you have never been a big club (and never will)
