No end to Blues’ Bruce saga

Steve Bruce appears unlikely to be in charge of Wigan for their  clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow.

The 46-year-old was expected to be unveiled as the Latics’ new boss yesterday but his appointment is still  on hold due to an 1 issue between Bruce and his former club Birmingham. 

But the frustration continued for Wigan yesterday with Birmingham chairman David Gold unable to confirm when the situation will be resolved, admitting he was as much in the dark as anyone else.
