I think this will be a lot closer this year.

At the end of the day there was only 1 point between us at the end of last season, and only 4 now.

There is not the huge gulf that seems to be the perception amongst some, not all boggies fans.

As a wolves fan, if I am honest I would be happy with a draw at your place.

However our defence is not leaking goals at present and we look very tight, there is a lot of pace in Foley and Ward can run quick but has the turning speed of a tanker.

    Come on the Wolves.

By the way, is that you lot on the phones 4u advert??

    LOL

I don’t agree that their defence is better than ours just look at the southhampton game, we may have a slow defence but the experience is there and foley has plenty of pace

Amazed the Express and Star not only found 5 Albion fans to interview, but 5 people admitting to it! Must be stuggling actors.

    Brummies 0-3 Wolves

    We are Wolves.

We were better than Wolves last year, and I believe we are a better team this year, Wolves only you wolves fans can answer that?. Derby matches can be close games Wolves have let in less than we have but our forward line has to be the best as we are scoring loads. It will be close but I think we will run out 2-0 winners.

I love the confidence from the baggies fans !!!
I see the game being very close sunday, i’d be happy with a draw but it would suprise me if we beat the baggies………

W.B.A 3 Wolves 2, good open game with hopefully us sneaking it.All the prediction about us hammering you i fear may be wide of the mark. It is a derby and anything can happen.

Just a point for sandwell massive, i presume you are a brummy aswell as you are classing west brom as brummies.

    You tool

Wolftom - Which Southampton game are we talking about that proved better defences? Not the one at the molineux last season?

Any way as we know it all goes out of the window in a derby, it’s more about who have got bigger hearts (and sometimes elbows in a derby!) I think we’ll have too much for you again this year.

    Boing Boing (sensible) prediction
REAL Black Country 2-0 Staffordshire Town

REAL Black Country in Birmingham? Lets be honest neither ground is in the BC. I am sure this was referred to as the South Staffordshire derby as recently as the late 70’s in the Wolves prog. Anyway 2-0 to Albion I am afraid. Pains me to say it as a wolf but they are far and away the best pure football team in the division and will have too much for us. Still not absolutely convinced they will go up automatic though - still dodgy away.

    (3) you really are an annoying idiot!

Its just another game you get 3 points for a win 1 for a draw and none for a loss.

At the end of the day its about trying to get to the premier league. So who cares whether its wolves or scunthorpe a game is a game.

WOLVES WILL REALLY STRUGGLE AT WBA,THEY HAVE ASSEMBLED A GOOD SQUAD,AS A LOYAL WOLVES FAN,IT WILL BE WBA PROMOTED & UNLESS OUR STRIKER’S PERFORM SUNDAY AGAINST ONE OF THE TOUGHEST TEAMS IN THEIR GROUND,I STILL THINK IT WILL BE 3-0 TO W.B.A.”"MM TIME FOR SOME BIG CHANGES IN JANUARY”"!!!
“”PUT DENES ROSA ON THE BENCH,GIVE HIM A RUN OUT AGAINST W.B.A.IT WILL BE THE WISEST THING YOU WILL HAVE DONE APART FROM SIGNING MR FANTASTIC MICHAEL KIGHTLY”"!!.

Anyone looking purely at stats of Albion’s home form would come to the conclusion the likely outcome is an Albion win. Though that’s the beauty of football, it’s unpredictable and especially so in derbies. I think Wolves will be better than last year, but go for Baggies 2-1.

  13. STOKIE said:

Will be a lot closer this year i think with both teams going all out for it , think the score will more than likely be 0-0 till me meet at Molineux & hopefully wolves will be firing on all cylinders …

    3. Another one of your great predictions just like your Watford one, (6-0 to The Hornets if I remember rightly!!).
Cant see Wolves coming to The Hawthorns and winning by a 3 goal margin. However they are due a result
and if they did win it would be by the odd goal.
The Black Country derby has always been unpredictable.

3-0 Albion.Yes they may have a bit of spirit at first but when we score one we will score more.Class will always outshine spirit.Bring it on. BOINGBOING

Midfield will overrun you dingles, a win by 2 goals with the scorers coming from either Miller or the midfield, Tex and Gera.

By the way, if we are in the phones4U ad, isn’t that MM in the choccy ad playing the drums, yes, the chump!!!

YOU WATCH! WE’LL AT LEAST GET A DRAW AT BAGGIES. ESPECIALLY WITH PHILLIPS OUT! WHAT A BIT OF LUCK!

  24. Jimmy The Wack! said:

I think it will be a tight game but at home ya gotta fancy the Baggies. Wolves will come and try and mix it up if they want anything out the game but if they try to play football against us, well……………….. can only see one winner! Boing Boing

    West Bromwich Albion 2 - 0 Wolves

  25. boy from the REAL black country said:

I think albion have a much better team/squad all round this season compared to last, and given that we beat wolves 4 out the 5 matches, that would suggest an albion win for definate… but we all know football don’t work like that!

Honours even this time around after the 2 games - weather that means both matches ending in draws or albion winning next week and wolves winning the return, i’m not sure which, but it will definately be a lot closer!

  26. whiteuss said:

Im wolves through and through but
We will lose. Dont like saying it but they are a better side.
I would be pleased with a draw.

  27. Leam_Albion said:

All the cocky Baggies out there.. Let’s not get carried away. If the players were as complacent as us, we’re guarenteed a beating. As much as I hate to say, they’re no mugs and with derby day tension to add to that, anything could happen. If they manage a 90 min spell of what Cov managed in the 1st half at the Ricoh, then either of us could nick a lucky goal. TM is trying to educate the players to show respect and above all… Humility.. This enables us to accept wins with great joy and pride, and occasional (but inevitable) defeats with humility and grace.

Everyone knows we’re the better football team, but that alone is not worthy of 3 pts, especially against our biggest rivals.. Now come on you Baggies!!!!!!!!!!

  28. reanswolf said:

With the tight knit home ground providing the 12th man (please note steve morgan if you do improve molineux), the hawthorns is always a tough place to get on top, never mind a BC derby. Can only see one outcome i am afraid, but we are progressing. Its just albion are better in reality in these days. Stick with em tho lads and lasses!
