The Hay Canal Basin in Wolverhampton’s Broad Street could be one of the beneficiaries if the Black Country bid wins the £50m People’s Lottery Giveaway.

    hurray!at last something to be done about our heritage,as a daily walker along the canal,especially the wednesfield side,I see a lot of wildlife,but no sign of barges these days a great pity.

    Hope its paved upto stafford on the SandW canal and upto Chester on the SU canal.
