Under 8s – Vic Market Tigers set their stall out for the day with an excellent performance which saw Jack Carter’s strike give them the points against an improving Stone Cross Tigers and it looked like Jack’s second strike of the day was going to make it a perfect return but All Saints had other ideas and a late rally and a strike from Joseph Hall saw them take a share of the spoils.
Earlier in the day All Saints had faced FC Strollers the league’s leading scorers and despite a battling performance from All Saints strikes from James Birk, Kian Dwyer, Ellis Greatrex and Gianni Boparon had helped Strollers take all three points.
Strollers followed this up with an excellent performance against Stone Cross Lions taking all three points with a hat trick from Ellis Greatrex and goals from Tyler Hendon, Ben Mansell and Gianni Boparon to keep up the pressure in leaders Bentley Youth who met both Stone Cross teams proving too strong and taking all six points.
A brace from Kieron Francis and goals from Jack Adams, Harry Shaw, Ryan Allmark, Jake Powers and Joshua Toye helped them overcome the Tigers while a brace from Ryan Allmark and strikes from Kieron Francis, Jake Powers and Joshua Toye saw them beat the Lions.
At this stage in the season Kian Dwyer of FC Strollers is leading the chase for the top scorer title with 20 goals closely followed by team mate Gianni Boparon with 19 while Bentley’s Joshua Toye on 17 and Kieron Francis on 13 are still in the hunt.
Under 10s - It was cup action all the way as the first two rounds of the Kath Evans League Cup were played.
But first of all credit must go to all the players and supporters of the teams for the way they conducted themselves in observing the two minutes silence for Remembrance Day.
In the First Round the shock result of the day saw St Joseph’s Colts run out 3–0 winners against Premier League contenders Smethwick Sikh Temple.
Goals from Corey Whitehouse, Kyle Hunjan and Richard Peters saw them through to the Second Round.
Even the top teams were held to lower than expected scores, with Lane Head only managing three against battling All Saints Juniors.
A Jack Arnold brace and one from Jack Whitehouse saw them through to Round 2, while FC Perton fought hard before going down 2–0 to Wednesfield, who had a Jamie Goodwin brace to see them through.
Goals from Joshua Esson and Djoffru Mpoyi, along with an own goal, saw New Park Village progress against Pensnett Harriers, while a similar 3–0 score line for Perton and Codsall West, with goals from Daniel Slyde, Oliver Lake and Matthew Finney, against Wolverhampton Development Pumas, saw them progress Michael Dobosz, with a brace, and Adam Woodward saw Tipton Olympic through against Dudley Town, while Coven United Colts booked their place in Round 2 with George Edwards scoring the only goal of the game against Cooper’s Casuals.
Wolverhampton Development Panthers began their day with a 1-0 victory over a resilient Bustleholme team, the goal coming from Jack Simcox.
As the Second Round got underway, it was a another brace from Jamie Goodwin, along with goals from Luke Mitchell and James O’Malley that helped provide the day’s highest score, as Wednesfield booked a Quarter Final place with a 4 – 1 victory Ashbourne Raiders, for who Callum Bradley scored. St Joseph’s, having turned in the top performance of the day earlier, couldn’t maintain the momentum, and went out to Callum Lester’s goal for Salisbury Rangers.
On paper, the closest game of the round was between New Park Village and Willenhall, and it was Village who ran out 2–1 winners of an excellent match.
Reece Mason and Frank Hill were their scorers, with Adam Hill replying for Willenhall. Daniel Slyde was again on target, along with Paul Griffiths and Jack Bishop, as Perton and Codsall West ran out 3 – 0 winners against Bentley Youth. Jack Whitehouse and Jack Arnold were Lane Head’s scorers in their 2 – 0 win over Stone Cross, who put up a very spirited performance, while Wolverhampton Development Panthers continued their fine form with a 3 – 0 victory over Prestwood Rangers, with a Jack Simcox brace and one from Tyler Cartwright. Sam Woodward was on target for Rowley Rangers with the only goal of the match against Tipton Olympic, while the only game to go to extra time finished with Coven United Colts going through to the Quarter Finals as they ran out 2 – 1 winners over Perton and Codsall East. Dominic Finlay and Ciaran Singh scored for Coven, with George Vernon on target for Perton and Codsall.
Under 11s – Congratulations to Wednesfield who were crowned as Autumn League West Division champions after they beat title rivals Finchfield 4-1 to finish the autumn campaign with an unblemished record.
Alex Ashton was on target for runners up Finchfield who had matched Wednesfield stride for stride until today’s head to head.
Coven United end the campaign in third place after goals from Jean Pierre Jones and Charlie McIllworth helped them beat FC Perton.
Willenhall Town Colts were confirmed as East Division runners up after they beat rivals Warstones Wanderers (North) 5-2.
Brandhall Colts kicked off the spring league campaign with an excellent 5-1 victory at All Saints to set the pace in the Second Division.
In the group stages of the Charity Cup goals from Weston and Probert helped Rowley Rangers beat Hill Top in Group A while Willenhall Town Reds beat Tipton Olympic 4-2 in Group B.
East Park Phoenix beat Wallbrook United 6-0 in Group C while F.C. Strollers went one better beating Bilbrook Juniors (Rangers) 7-1 and in Group D New Park Village beat Dudley Town 6-1 and in Group E four goals from Ewers and one each from Durose, Spragg, Mellors and McLeod helped Bentley Youth beat Ashbourne Raiders while Warstones Wanderers (Lions) beat Prestwood Rangers 5-0 in Group F.
Under 12s – A brace from Will Shaw and goals from Carl Pearce and Aaron Bains helped Bentley Youth beat second division highfliers Smethwick Sikh Temple by the odd goal in a seven goal thriller in the second round of the Jamie Mason (League) Cup with Kamarhys Clair, Tyrone Palmer and Harprett Khartar on the score sheet for the hosts while second division Coven United almost pulled off the shock of the day against premier division New Park Village.
A hat trick from Joe Prosser helped the Village to an odd goal in five victory with Thomas Heath bagging both Coven’s goals. Another close contest saw premiership FC Perton narrowly edge out first division Finchfield with goals from Lewis Catton, Daniel Roberto, Luke Woodman and Rhys Hasuln with Lewis Reily, with a brace and Ryan Goldbourn replying for the hosts.
In the all premiership clash goals from Reece Perry, Matthew Cherryington and Thomas Burkitt helped Sedgley White Lions beat Moorcroft Raiders with Taylor Sadddington replying while three goals apiece from Billy Sneddon and Chad Shinton, two goals from Rhys Shaw and one each from Aaron Wye, Josh Bell and Joe Davies helped premiership highfliers F.C. Strollers beat second division Tipton Olympic and four goals from Kristan Parker, two from Brad Till and one each from Charlie Arnold, Sam Downs, Joshua Garbett and Daniel Whorton helped premiership outfit Willenhall Town beat first division Moxley Rangers with Corey Walker replying while five goals from Kieron Whittaker, three from Elliot Simpson and one each from Thomas Hargood, Bradley Smith, Will Hughes and Jacob Bull helped premiership Bilbrook Juniors (West) beat first division F.C. Four goals from Jack Hutchins, three from Meshakes Douglas and one each from Dylan Coney, Jack Griffiths and Wahab Malik helped Warstones Wanderers (West) beat Penn Rovers to move to the top of the Premier Division with Ryan Dillon replying and in the First Division a brace from Rajan Halaith and goals from Lyal Bagshaw, Alex Kemp, William Legg and Matthew Frost helped Windsor beat Prestwood Rangers to move to the top of the table.
Under 13s – An excellent all round team performance saw Willenhall Town beat a very strong Boley Park to book their place in the semi finals of the prestigious Tesco Cup.
A strike mid way through the first half from Daniel Edmondson-Griffiths gave Willenhall the lead an only the woodwork, twice, and some excellent keeping denied Willenhall a commanding lead but a late rally by the visitors in the second half saw them pushing hard for the equaliser but some resolute defending by Willenhall saw them progress to the semi finals.
Four goals from Luke Shirley, two from Mohit Sethi and one each from Ryan Long, Jack Whittal, Callum Williams, Jordan Anderson and Jerae Hine helped premier division leaders Warley Vipers beat Moorcroft Raiders to maintain their 100% record with Ashley Edmunds, with a brace and Jordan Hyde replying while second placed Eurofast were held to a goal less draw by Himley Colts and goals from Junior Mangolo, Phillip Mann, Mitchell Woodward, Demetri Dunkley and Amarni Allen helped New Park Village beat Hill Top while four goals apiece from Ryan Stanley and Jack Adams and one each from Daniel Foster and Nathan Moore helped Bustleholme Blades beat Oldbury Lions to record their first league victory of the campaign with Dale Williams replying.
Five goals from Fabian Facey and one each from Klodian Beqa and Erik Kusrak helped First Division leaders Warstones Wanderers (South) beat All Saints Juniors who replied through Andre Evans, with a hat trick, Jake Hildread and Adam Thompson while a brace from Conner Worth and a strike from Stefan Cameron helped second placed NC Sports beat Wednesbury Oak Colts to keep up the pressure on the leaders with Ricky Evans replying and three goals apiece from Thomas Edge and Geo Shaw and one each from Cory Rolls, Tnaraj Sangha and Joshua Bird helped All Star Harriers beat Perton & Codsall United with Andy Thomas bagging a hat trick in reply.
The top of the table clash in the Second Division between Bustleholme Athletic and Bantock Vipers started brightly with some excellent fast paced football by both sides with Bustleholme’s Ben O’Keefe getting an early hat trick. Bantock failed to find the net despite hammering the woodwork several times to leave Bustleholme’s 100% league record in tact while an impressive performance helped Black Country Ravens to a share of the spoils at second placed Bilston Wanderers with Sam Bharaj on target for the Ravens and Romario McFarlande for the Wanderers and goals from Andrew Day, Andrew Morgan and Robert Haynes helped Sedgley White Lions beat Bentley Youth with Ashley Hale replying and an evenly match contest saw a strike from Tipton Olympic’s Robert Lloyd cancelled out by a strike from Beo Winnill of New State Lions as the teams shared the points.
In the Third Division four goals from Dylan Crackette, two goals from Olutise Oluaydomie and one each from Joel Taylor, Joshdeep Tharia, Amandeep Binning and Sufyan Khan helped leaders Smethwick United beat Warstones Wanderers (East) to continue their perfect start to the season with Sam Hipkiss and Ben Litchfield replying while goals from Matt Smith, Aaron Baugh and Sam Wesley helped Pendeford Park beat second placed Punjab United with Amril Sahota replying and a hat trick from Joe Morgan and goals from Luke Chatwin, Alex Colesby, Panashe Kanyuchi, and Tom Everill helped Dudley Town beat Tettenhall Wood Athletic.

Under 15s – Six goals from Perdy and two from Chambers helped Premier Division leaders Finchfield beat local rivals Windsor while a hat trick from Birch and goals from Luksmith and Parks helped second placed Bilbrook Juniors (East) beat Carlisle Swifts to maintain their unbeaten record and keep up the pressure on the leaders with Hople replying for the Swifts and two goals from Anglin and one each from Pitt, Gibson and Skinner helped unbeaten Willenhall Town Tigers maintain their title challenge with a victory over Beechdale Swifts with Ogilvie replying while five goals from Corns and one from Baker helped Trysull Tigers beat Bustleholme 2000.
First Division leaders Springvale beat Wednesbury Inter Athletic to maintain their perfect league record courtesy of a brace from Wood and goals from Carter, Crutchley and Turner with Burke replying while a hat trick from Tonks and goals from Daniels and Griffiths helped second placed Park Hill Boys beat Tipton Olympic with Perry and Laiden replying and a brace from Stanton and goals from Hallard, Fellows and Philips helped Woodsetton beat Perton & Codsall United while Smethwick United beat Featherstone by the odd goal in five and it was honours even when Wood Farm Wanderers entertained FC Perton with a double strike from Walsh cancelled out by goals from Caton and Northall.

Under 16s – A Hat trick from Seb Craven, two goals apiece from Harrison Baddams, Craig Skeldon and Curtis Francis and goals from Harvinder Mandair and Alex Goodman helped Tipton Town demolish Phoenix Youth in the second round of the B’ham County F.A. Minor Cup.
Tipton are joined in the third round by Hill Top Rangers, who beat Image Wheels Kestrals with two goals apiece from Kevin Ward and James Fathers and one each from Howard Baker, Kyle Haydon and Aaron Bailey while Bustleholme overcame Lyng Falcons by the odd goal in five with Danny Davies netting both goals for the visitors.

Under 17s - A hat trick from Gordon and goals from Johnson, Coke and Drysdale helped Wyrley Juniors beat F.C. Premier to cruise into the third round of the Staffs County Youth Challenge Cup where they are joined by F.C. Perton who recorded an impressive victory at Blakenall Harriers with Etiemble bagging the all important goal while Willenhall Youth were unlucky to bow out to Milton United Under 18s.
A goalless first half and an even second half looked to be heading to extra time until a wickedly deflected free kick gave the Under 18s side the goal they needed to head to the next round and Darlaston Town Boys went out at Hanley Town Juniors.
In the Premier Division goals from Powell, Baker, Stevens, Gavin, Gibbons, Aston and Wakeman helped Bustleholme beat Park Hill Boys ‘07 with Heappey, Wall and Dickson replying while in the First Division goals from N Garrett, Harvey and Idoini helped Parkes Hall Lions beat Parkside Rangers with Garfield replying.
In the Group stages of the President’s Cup Argyle shared the points with Castle Youth with goals from Plummer and Parkes cancelled out by strikes from Austin and Jones while three goals apiece from Connochie and Nicklin, two from Smith and one from Richards helped Swinmoor Rangers beat Wednesbury Sports Union with Talbot replying.
