Hednesford welcome back Chris Adam and Mario Pedro for tomorrow’s clash at Unibond premier division leaders Witton Albion.
Midfielder Adam (hamstring) and winger Pedro (thigh) missed last week’s FA Trophy exit to Guiseley, but both are fit for the trip to Cheshire.
Manager Phil Starbuck is expecting a huge test from Witton, who are six points clear at the top. But he vowed the Pitmen would go there to win.
“It’s going to be very tough and we need to be on our game,” said Starbuck. “If we perform to the levels we’re capable of, then we can win the game. We don’t fear anyone.
“There’s no reason why we can’t fo there looking for three points.”
Starbuck also backed new loan signings from Stafford Rangers and Walsall respectively, Sebastien Arnolin and Chris Hanna, to continue their bright starts despite losing debuts against Guiseley last week.
“Sebastien showed very good feet, he’s got great ability and he got forward well,” said the Keys Park chief. “He works hard, but just lacks a bit of match fitness, but he’ll get that.
“Chris did very well – he’s a very intelligent lad, he’s very quick and he caused them problems.”
Midfielder Steve Palmer, who has a broken bone in his foot, and Reece Styche, who has just had his plaster removed from a broken ankle, are still some way away from fitness.”
