A Black Country primary school has built its own golf course.
And pupils at Uplands Manor Primary School in Smethwick are already getting into the swing of things on the six-hole course.
The ‘tri-golf’ course, where youngsters can practise their stroke and work on their handicap, has proven a smash hit with youngsters and teachers say the concentration needed to master the sport has had a positive knock-on effect on behaviour.

My son attends Uplands Manor primary school and really enjoys playing golf, so much so he has persuaded his dad to take up the sport and now plays on Sundays too!!!!!!! It is a great sport to develop confidence and co-ordination, well done to the school and to Mr and Mrs Climpson for developing the idea !!!!!!!!!
