goal.jpgUnder 8s - It’s a close race at the top of the table with Bentley Youth and F.C. Strollers both banking another 6 points.

Bentley maintained their unbeaten record at the top of the table after being held to a 3-0 score line by Vic Market Tigers with two goals from Jake Powers and one from Joshua Toye but they followed this up with a 7-0 victory over All Saints with two goals apiece from Harry Shaw, Jack Adams and Joshua Toye and one from Kieran Francis.

Strollers started the day with an 8-0 victory over Stone Cross Lions with Ben Mansell bagging his first hat trick of the campaign and a brace from Tyler Hendon and goals from Jack Birk, Kian Dwyer and Gianni Boparon completing the scoring while they game against Vic Market Tigers saw the improving Tigers limit the score to 3-1.

Ben Mansell bagged another two with Akiel Blair also on the score sheet for Strollers while Reece Simmonds was on target for the Tigers.

Skye Hylton bagged all four goals as All Saints beat Stone Cross Tigers while it was the Tigers that emerged victorious when they faced stable mates Stone Cross Lions.

Brandon Wiramanden and Bailey Lowth gave the Tigers a two goal lead before Ayden Bogle pulled one back for the Lions to set up an exciting finish to the game but some stoic defending saw the Tigers hold on.

 

Under 10s - With only a few matches as the Autumn League draws to a conclusion, pride of place goes to Wolverhampton Development Pumas who played the only match in the South Division, and ran out 7-1 winners against Coven United Colts.

A hat trick from Jack Richards and a brace each from Ryan Griffiths and Reiss Pugh was enough to see the Pumas clinch 3rd spot in the league, only on goal difference behind New Park Village.

In the West Division Perton and Codsall West, already assured of the runners-up spot, continued in fine style with a 5 - 0 victory over Dudley, followed by a 3 - 0 win against Rowley Rangers.

Jack Simcox hit a hat trick in the first match, with Ashley Wilcox and Tyler Wright also on target, while it was Daniel Slyde, Jack Bishop and Paul Griffiths scoring against Rowley.

Dudley, however, showed their fighting spirit against St Joseph’s Colts as they came from a goal down to run out 2 - 1 winners, with a Jack Hingley brace cancelling out Kyle Hanjan’s early lead.

 

Under 11s - It was a successful day for the league’s teams in the second round of the South Staffs Junior Charity Cup Leading the way into the third round were FC Strollers who beat Gornal Colts with two goals apiece from Edwards and Ball and one each from Burgess, Chidlow and Powers while a hat trick from Langford and a goal from Handley helped Hill Top Rangers beat Holy Name and a brace from Hemmings and goals from Dean and Bridgen helped Willenhall Town Reds beat Tettenhall Wood Athletic.

They are joined in the next round by Wednesfield, who beat Wyrley Juniors (Panthers) 4-3 and Rowley Rangers, who beat Halas Hawks East.

Rowley took the lead through Jack Turner but the visitors equalised with just two minutes left but an extra time strike from Jack Turner, his second of the game, sealed the tie for the Rangers.

Willenhall Town Colts were unlucky to bow out to Withymoor Colts East despite a brace from Moore and goals from Ryder and Birch while East Park Phoenix lost at Kidderminster Lions and Warstones Wanderers (Lions) lost to Boldmere Falcons.

Congratulations to Bilbrook Juniors (Celtic) who were confirmed as Autumn League (North) Division champions when they beat Ashbourne Raiders to maintained their 100% record with four goals from Wayne, three from Newlyn, two from Maydew and one for Mcpherson with Knightingale replying for the Raiders while New Park Village beat Prestwood Rangers 16-0. In the Autumn League (West) Finchfield beat FC Perton to maintain their 100% record and keep their championship hopes alive thanks to a hat trick from Mark Giles, a brace from Charles Besenyei and goals from Sam Astley and Alex Ashton.

The destination of the title will be settled when Finchfield take on top team Wednesfield, who also have a perfect league record, in the final autumn league game.

In the Group stages of the Charity Cup Brandhall beat Coven 4-3 to move to the top of the Group E with Nathan Robertson, Charlie McIllworth and John-Pierre Jones on target for Coven while Warstones Wanderers (North) beat Perton and Codsall United 2-0 in Group D and Bilbrook Juniors (Rangers) beat Wallbrook United 2-1 in Group C.

 

Under 12s - Two league teams made it through to the next round of the South Staffs Junior Charity Cup. Bilbrook Juniors (West) who beat Wyrley Juniors Panthers with a hat trick from Kieran Whittacre and goals from Bobby Glencourse and Elliot Simpson while in the shock of the day first division Windsor beat premiership highfliers FC Strollers 3-1.

Campbell was on target as Warstones Wanderers (Lions) went out at Great Barr Harriers while Finchfield lost at DDC Colts and New Park Village lost at Tower FC.

In the Premier Division two goals apiece from Luke Moseley and Jack Simpson and one from Joshua Edwards helped F.C. Perton beat Willenhall Town in a nine goal thriller.

Willenhall replied through Joshua Garbett, who bagged a hat trick, and Liam Bradney.

Four goals from Tyronne Palmer, two each from Gavindeep Suner and Karamrhys Clair and one from Harpreet Khatkar helped Second Division leaders Smethwick Sikh Temple beat Wolverhampton Development while four goals from Thomas Heath, two from Wrayon Vassell and one each from James Winwood.

Joshua Smith and Ross Edmunds helped Coven United beat Tipton Olympic to keep up the pressure on the leaders and two goals from Callum Hall and one each from Bradley Clifford and Alex Kitson helped Wednesbury Sports Union beat Bentley Youth with Aaron Bains and George Gavin with a penalty replying.

 

Under 13s - It was a successful day for the league’s times that took a break from domestic action to compete in the South Staffs Junior Charity Cup.

In the third round draw are Eurofast, who beat Cookley 5-1, Hill Top Rangers, who beat Brierley Hill Bullets East 6-0, NC Sports, who had a successful trip to Pelsall Villa Colts winning 3-0, Moorcroft Raiders, who beat Redhouse Rangers in a nine goal thriller, Warley Vipers, who emerged victorious from a close contest with Stafford Rangers, Willenhall Town, who beat F.C. Premier 4-0 and New Park Village who overcame Wyrley Juniors Panthers by the same score.

Bustleholme Hawks were unlucky to bow out on penalties to Pelsall Saints while Bantock Vipers went down by the odd goal in three against Shire Oak Falcons and Warstones Wanderers (South) lost to Shire Oak Blues.

A hat trick from Olutisc Oliayodoni and goals from Joel Taylor, Mohammad Akram and Amandeep Binning helped Third Division leaders Smethwick United beat Dudley Town to maintain their 100% record while two goals apiece from Anton Perrin, Omari Thomas and Jordan Palmer and one from Amrik Sahota helped Punjab United beat Wednesbury Royals to keep up the pressure on the leaders and two goals each from Matt Hudson-Smith and Sam Wesley and one apiece from Dann Kidd, Alex Ryan, Okess Kolunly and Luke Jones helped Pendeford Park beat Warstones Wanderers (East).

In the Second Division leaders Bustleholme started strongly in their game against Tipton Olympic with their top scorer Ryan Reynolds adding another two to his tally.

Tipton’s Jordan Price then broke through to claim a goal in the 31st minute which was cancelled out in 32nd minute by Bustleholme’s Joshua Heath.

The second half saw the lead widening further with Ben O’Keefe scoring and then Bustleholme’s Joseph Hunt proved that defenders can hit nets as well as clear them with the final goal of the match.

Bilston Wanderers moved into second spot after a hat trick from Romario McFarlande and a strike from Sean Caddy helped them beat New State Lions with Jack Elmore and Scott Hickman on target for the visitors while two goals from Tom Timmins and one each from Jack Smith and Andrew Morgan helped Sedgley White Lions beat Black Country Ravens with Lee Davies replying.

In the Premier Division goals from Reece Bancroft and Thomas Elwell helped Himley Colts beat Bustleholme Blades.

 

Under 14s - It was a disappointing day for the league’s teams in the South Staffs Junior Charity Cup with only three teams in the hat for the third round draw.

Leading the way were Warstones Wanderers North who demolished Pelsall Villa with five goals from Gardner, four from Meggoe, three from Turton and one each from Thomas, Bernard and Lee while Sandwell Dynamos overcame Black Country Rangers with a brace from Dupont and goals from Bradd and Wilson.

They will be joined in the third round by Warstones Wanderers (South) if they can overcome Shelfield Hatricks in their delayed tie.

Second Division Windsor were unlucky to bow out in extra time to Shire Oak Pumas while Hill Top Rangers went down to the odd goal in three at Clements 83 and East Park Youth lost out to the odd goal in five at Harpfield while Sedgley White Lions went down 3-1 at Shire Oak Strikers with Bunger on target for the Lions and New Park Village lost to Cresswell Wanderers by the same score.

Also out are Willenhall Town Swifts who lost at Colron Boys, Darlaston Town who lost at Eccleshall Eagles and Wolverhampton Development who lost to Lichfield City Eagles.

Domestic action saw four goals from Tipton and two from Speed helped First Division leaders Beechdale Swifts beat Willenhall Town Colts to maintain their 100% record while goals from Smith, Derbyshire, Harris, Hipgrave and Harvey helped Perton and Codsall United beat Tipton Olympic and goals from Walker, Hoof, Harris, Benton and Hodgetts helped FC Perton beat Tipton Town with Mayakadu replying while Smethwick Sikh Temple beat Warstones Wanderers (South) 2-1.

Goals from Saxon and Lewis helped Stone Cross beat Coven to move to the top of the Second Division while Tipton Athletic beat Moorcroft Raiders 7-1 and Wednesfield Phoenix beat Coopers Casuals 3-2.

 

Under 15s - In the second round of the Staffs County Youth Under 15s Sunday Cup goals from Birk, Hawkins, Llewellwyn, Pearin and Bednarlzwk helped Wood Farm Wanderers beat Wood Green United while two goals from Plimmer and one each from Lee and Sullivan helped Willenhall Town Swifts beat Carlisle Swifts while stable mates Willenhall Town Tigers had to rely on a penalty shoot out victory to overcome Beechdale Swifts and Hall and Tonks were on target as Park Hill Boys lost out on penalties to Leek Town Rangers.

Stanton, with a brace and Ward were on target as Woodsetton lost out to Bucknall Youth while goals from Hopson and Turner weren’t enough to help Springvale overcome Rocester Elkes Eagles and Green was on the score sheet  as Bilbrook Juniors (North Star) lost to Audley Juniors. Wednesbury Inter Athletic lost to Chase Stags and Warstones Wanderers went out to Heath Hayes.

In the Premier Division Chambers bagged the all important goal as Finchfield beat Parkes Hall to move to the top of the table while Trysull Tigers and Bustleholme 2000 shared the spoils in a goal less draw.

In the First Division Smethwick United picked up their first win of the season, beating Perton & Codsall United while F.C. Perton and Tipton Olympic shared the spoils in an eight goal thriller with Northall, with a brace, Goodhead and Thorpe on target for Perton and Whitehouse, with a hat trick and Harrison for Tipton.

In the Second Division two goals from Uppall and one each from Hale and Pemberton helped Punjab United beat Tipton Warriors with Hale netting both goals in reply while Pullen netted both goals in Darlaston’s victory at All Saints.

 

Under 16s - Hat tricks from Daniel Jaggers and Nathan Cain, a brace from Josh Millard and goals from Liam Sheldon and Aaron Williams helped Sedgley Alliance Swifts beat Brownhills Community Colts to progress to the third round of the Staffs County Youth Under 16s Sunday Cup.

They are joined in the next round by Pelsall Villa Colts who beat Wyrley Juniors Tigers with four goals from Ryan Wilkins and three from Callum Griffiths with Andrew Ainton, with a hat trick and Alex Imerfry replying while goals from Ashley Dicken and Kyle Mason helped Willenhall Town Swifts beat Huntington Swifts and two goals from Dan Parkes and one from Liam Wright helped Wednesbury Town Boys beat Rugeley Rangers.

Bentley Youth lost by the odd goal in three to Norton United while goals from Shane Ecclestone, Nathan James and Adam Hopcroft weren’t enough to stop Darlaston Town going out at Bilbrook Juniors while Grant Oakley was on target as Sedgley Alliance Colts went out at Stafford Spartans.

Wednesfield lost to Hednesford Town while Stowlawn Youth lost at Chasetown Youth. Matt Grainger bagged the all important goal as Premier Division leaders Tipton Town beat Lyng Falcons while a brace from Kyle Haydon and a strike from Handsley helped First Division leaders Hill Top Rangers Colts beat Moxley Rangers and two goals from Dan Coles and one each from Matt Kirby, Matt Conroy and Luke Hart helped Sedgley Town beat Punjab United while Wolverhampton Development beat Penn Rovers.

In the Second Division two goals from Stuart Bevans and one each from Liam Clayton and Lewis Jones helped Parkes Hall beat Hill Top Rangers with Luke Harrison, Alex Banks and Dan Hopson replying while in the Third Division a hat trick from Marcus Moreton and goals from Sam Shinn and Dean Walters helped Wednesbury Sports Union beat Image Wheels Kestrals while goals from Griffiths, Dell and Johns helped J.M. United to a share of the spoils with leaders Aldersley with Connor Forrester bagging a hat trick in reply.

 

Under 17s - In the Premier Division Willenhall Youth took three points from their visit to Bustleholme with Lee Smith bagging the all important goal.

Willenhall started brightly, hitting the woodwork twice, and were unlucky to go in level at the break.

Bustleholme stepped up their game in the second half and only the woodwork stopped them from taking the lead but Willenhall rallied and a late run from Ellis James saw him pressure the Bustleholme defence before laying the ball off for Lee Smith to slot home.

Also in the premier division two goals from Smith and one from Richards helped leaders Swinmoor Rangers beat Castle Youth with Forrest replying.

In the First Division goals from Gittens, Evans, Corns and Bolton helped FC Perton Pumas beat Parkes Hall Lions to move to the top of the table with Idoine replying while goals from Whitlock, Payne and Rashid helped Darlaston Town beat Parkside Rangers with Singh replying while three goals apiece from Parsley and Coke, two from Johnson and one from Clift helped Wyrley Juniors beat Sandwell Youth with Taylor and Mcarthy replying and Talbot bagged all three goals as Wednesbury Sports Union beat AFC Wombourne with Johnson replying.
