My husband and I went on one of the Dudley Ghost Tours earlier this year, which finished the tour at the castle. It was a very interesting evening and we managed to photograph some very bright, moving orbs at the castle. Our photographs have since been published on the Ghost Tour site, along with other photographs taken at Dudley Castle. Well worth a look. At night Dudley Castle is a very eerie place and takes on a completely different atmosphere! It is most definitely haunted in my opinion. Even my sceptical husband agrees now!

I was at this event and was the guy interviewed wearing the ’skulls’ outfit. It was a really enjoyable evening and was organised by Spice Birmingham. David the tour leader saw many spirits and things, but sadly I didn’t. However, it was a great evening, very thought provoking.

Dudley Castle is the most haunted, I went there with my high school once on a art project, I remeber I was by the toliets, sitting outside when I looked back at the building behind me, the building with the square windows, I noticed a women in grey standing watching down on what we all were doing there, she wasnt happy of course with us trespassing her home.

Then in 2005, when I was in a Paranormal Investigation team, We all went into the Chamber, we all sat down on a chair in darkness and was told to sit quietly and wait, suddenly I saw a young boy, only aged 6-7 sitting on the floor with his legs crossed facing myself and my uncles girlfriend Liz, he appeared to be wearing all grey clothing but looked rather sad then next he disappeared. I only saw him cause someone flashed their camera.

There is also meant to be a monk their called Miken Vanicus (Latin for Michael, not to be trusted) and he was murdered up there, it was a trap for him after he taken a life of the owners daughter/son which the body was buried in saint edmonds, lower in the town centre. Ive made contact with Miken a few times via Meditation and came forward with information.

I was also at the event on Halloween.I did see some orb lights in one room and in the cript my whole left side went cold but I didn`t mention to anyone, the fella next to me thought I had breathed on him at the same time thinking about it. I was and still am open minded. Some people felt a hairy dog but not myself.I`m sure there must be something strange going on at the castle.

I went on a ghost tour last night and when we had to sit in this room for the group seaonce,I had 1 particular ghost picking on me, not to mention that he didnt like women, so the tour person said he blew in my face 4 times, My fingers were freezing cold and i also saw some orb lights at the back of the room It really scared me. I also had some feelings towards the house that we could not enter. I will deffinetly go on one again, and I reccomend that any one who believes in ghosts should go. good luck to all xxxxx

I’m not disputing the fact that Dudley Castle is Haunted but the commercial side of things these days benefit greatly from all the hype and dramatics involved with it. You only have to watch Most Haunted to understand that most of the goings on are faked to get the ratings. Have a search on youtube and you’ll see all the trickery and deceit involved. Pay your money and enjoy the evening but don’t believe everything you see or hear. I saw a ghost once and it was a real one and the thrill it gave me didn’t cost me a penny :-)
