West Midlands football results round-upDARYL Bird kept Verson Park Rangers flying high at the top of Call Print Division Two.

Rangers needed his second half strike to claim all three points against Enterprise Eagles in a close contest.
Jonathon Ball had given home side Verson Park the lead before Eagles player Lee Meredith hit back to tie the game. However, Enterprise failed to hold out for an away point as Bird swooped to hit the winner.

A fine second half performance saw Oakdale Social battle back to earn a point in an eight-goal thriller against Codsall Athletic.

Athletic had taken a 4-1 lead soon into the second period thanks to goals from Jake Wright, James Pearce and a Josh Wright brace.

Despite the poor start to the half Oakdale soon hit back and took a share of the spoils thanks to two goals from Gary Lloyd and strikes from Paul Gibbs and Jason Bachelor.

A Daniel Burns hat-trick helped FC Perton to a 5-1 away win against Coven Colts.

John Anthony and Emanuel Anarfi also hit the back of the net for Perton. Gavin Hill scored a consolation for Coven.

Jolly Sailor also put in a fine performance to beat Sedgley Scorpions 6-1.

Oliver Firkin scored for Sedgley, but goals from Mike McFarlane, Lee Blake, Adam Campbell, Chris Whitehouse and two for Matt Robertson ensured Jolly Sailor took all three points.

A Thomas Slade hat-trick and Shaun Stenton brace made sure The Wanderer came out on top from their ten-goal match with TC United.

TC United made a fight of it with two goals from Richard Hudson and a strike from Ian Collins. However, other goals from Randy Brown and Richard Johnson made sure The Wanderer won 7-3.

A hat-trick each for Jamie Fellows and Ross Love helped Wombourne Wanderers to a convincing 9-2 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers Deaf. Two Sam Skelding goals and another from

Matt Cole added to Wombourne’s tally. Mark Campbell and Scott Brown hit consolations for Wolverhampton.

Kieran Harris hit a winner deep into injury time to give Smethwick Heating a vital win over Tipton Rovers in the Lawsons Premiership.

Nathan Carr had give Smethwick a 1-0 half time lead away from home before Tipton hit back late on.

Tipton thought they had done enough to earn a point when Richard Lewis grabbed an equaliser with only a few minutes left on the clock.

Harris, however, had different ideas and hit a dramatic winner with almost the last kick of the game to give Smethwick three away points.
Two-goal Ryan Bradshore gave Bilbrook Rangers a 3-1 victory over Hill Top Rangers.

Lee Allen scored for Hill Top but Bradshore’s brace and an Andrew Oakes goal gave Bilbrook the points.

AFC Codsall continued their fine form with a 3-1 away win over Sedgley White Lions.

A Mark Tooth strike, Dave Johnson goal and an own goal gave Codsall the win. Carl Bradley netted for Sedgley.

A first half winner from James Nichols was enough for Shippies to beat Aldersley 1-0. Sedgley White Lions West claimed a good win over Navigation.

Ben Wilkins, Shaun Lewis, Dominic Smith and Tom Rushton all got on the score sheet for Sedgley as they won 4-2 at home. Dominic Watton and Ricky Haynes made a game of it with a goal each for Navigation.

A second-half Liam Grant strike gave Great Barr Galaxy an 1-0 win over AC Harborne in what proved to be a close encounter in BTH Boiler Services Division One.

Two Jermaine Fenton goals helped St Chads Old Boys to a 3-0 home win against Barley Mow Wanderers. Sam Wappshot hit the third for St Chads.

Pensnett Panthers claimed a well-deserved away win with a 3-1 victory against Windsor Old Boys.

Andy Jones hit a second half winner to send Sedgley White Lions East into the third round of the Lester Charity Cup.

His goal was all that separated Sedgley and Portobello Royal Oak in the hard fought contest.

Sedgley Park lost out to Pensnett Panthers Under 17s in the first round of the Birmingham County FA Sunday Youth Cup. Panthers progressed to the next round with a 5-1 home victory.
