also remember super bob that one of your lot commented yesterday that with your far “superior” reserve team you would thrash us last night!
wouldn’t quite say a 3-3 draw was a thrashing would you??
Also hope this is what we can expect for the 1st team game soon, will be very exciting if it is!!
As for Eastwood being brought off, maybe it was planned that he played that long to stay in contention for Saturday. Fed up with all the post’s looking at the negatives! maybe they saw enough to say lets rest him for Saturday now.
Went to the game last night with the match officals. Six goals but what a poor game of football. First half it was like men against boys (how poor was the wolves keeper) Eastwood is a shadow of his former self I really dont know what has gone on there but he aint the player he was!. 2nd half once eastwood was taken off I thought Wolves where the much better side. To be honest deseved to win the game on chances they had. You can see why theses games are called reserves games because to be honest there was not a player on the pitch that deserved a run out in the first team (lets just say if those are our back up players both teams are in real trouble lol) another point why at a reserve game do the muppet fans that to be honest probably needed permission from there mommys to be their continue to constantly have ago at each other. Reserve games are normally where you can take the “little uns” to watch a game without all the normal “always s@@@ on the tesco/gold and black nonsence.
If Eastwood was brought off for any reason other than an injury then MM is really off his trolley. Eastwood needs time on the pitch. he needs to build his confidence. He needs the help and support of his manager. How will pulling him off in a reserve game help him. It’s rediculous.
MM should tell Eastwood that he has a guaranteed five game run so that Eastwood is able to try things and be able to make errors without the threat of being dropped.
MM is not giving the guy a chance. I hope he was injured or something because if he was brought off for his lack of form then MM maynot be the guy to take us forward after all.
Ade Boothroyd at Watford always gets the best from his players and he is hard.
Bristol is a big test for us (as usual). The season could well go very pear-shaped if we don’t get a regular, settled and confident forward line.
MM says that Rosa doesn’t fit in with his style of play, so lets see, that can only mean that scoring goals doesn’t fit in with his style of play. Is that why Eastwood was dropped, Craddock sent out on loan after scoring a wonder goal and yet Keogh & Elliott(Frankowski) get a regular start. MM has been sussed, he’s just a championship manager who set his stall out last season and is content with being the nearly boys, and then blame it on the kids when we don’t go up.
mick take of your blinkers and get rosa involved with the first team he is playing out of his skin.the excuse he doesnt play your style of football is feeble, that means the reserves play a different style to the first team how are they going to make the step up if they play a different style
superbob you miss my point, you are saying someone got it wrong yesterday for saying eastwood would bang the goals in….i was simply saying one of your lot said your reserves were far superior than the wolves ones (Hardly not by the result).
As for highlighting his comment about eastwood not scoring then saying reserve games are about fitness… are you contradicting yourself or what as you were commenting on his lack of goals to begin with!!!???
anyway away from this, I agree with the comment of num.5 reserve team football is poor and it shows with wolves results this season in the reserves (lost 5-1, 3-1 and 2-1 to Walsall then have won 4-0, 4-1 and a 3-3 draw) shows the teams dont get chance to gel together or even train together judging by those results!
I agree with the comment about MM and Rosa, if he dont fit the style then what are is the reserves style of play…..surely it should match the 1st teams style so players slot straight in and know what is expected of them.
Disagree with 1 bit of comment 5, i know a young lad who is captain of the albion reserves (Jared Hodgkiss) and all i have seen and heard is good reports about him, surely he could make the step up along with 1 or 2 of them. Cant always look good in poor sides!
bob…I implied yesterday we’d score 3 and we did…the only thing being as you correctly pointed out FE wasn’t on the score sheet.
De Rosa ..i’ve heard through the grapevine Wolves fans that Denes has moved country and commutes now from Dublin to Wolverhampton.
In a few weeks he’ll be a fully natrualised Irishman which would get him 50% of the way there to MM picking him, his ressurection is likely to be completed later this year after his loan stint with Sunderland expires!!!
Last nights game was a men against boys for much of the game.Wolves could not get near Albion for long stretches.McDONALD was just flying past the Wolves ,two at a time.In the second half however he wanted to go past the whole team and kept the ball for too long .Albion were too complacent and this is what stopped them from winning. As for Freddy Eastwood, well,he was by far the worst otfield player the wolves had(mr commical in goal was the worst).
(14) Yes forgot about young jared he does give his all but just needs that something extra probably his size is slightly against him but on last nights performances alone our first team defence has no worries about losing their place. But at least we are in agreement that reserve football is just a training exercise

So who scored our first then??
Slusarski 6 , Bednar 8 , Mcdonald 23.
Hughes 26 , Davies 61 , Rosa 87
Interesting that TonyMischi said yesterday that Eastwood would bang in the goals last night.
He was subbed after 49 mins with you 3-1 down…..
Liam Hughes.
Mick should be considering him plus Rosa, Lee Collins and Jarvis for Saturday

Oh well rant over!!
Wolves first team is struggling for goals and yet Rosa is regularly scoring for the reserves. He must be pulling his hair out with frustration.
mick, if you are reading this. i’ll take freddy for a month. playing for the molineux mixers might make him realise things aren’t so bad at wolves

You miss my point.
I couldn’t care less if we won 6-0 or lost 6-0.These are
games to build fitness and confidence.
My point with Eastwood is was he bought off with Saturday’s game in mind or was he bought off as he was having a pretty poor game ( see post no.5 ) ?
Time for Denes I think Mick

Is that a joke?
