i have said this for years. because it becomes depressing for people who work full time hours because when the clocks go back thats when it is dark when ppl go to work and dark when they finish work. i absoloutly hate it.

What’s the point of this? It affects your sleep patterns and can’t be good for productivity. Fair enough, it’s an hour lie-in until you adjust. Come Spring when you ‘lose’ an hour it takes far longer for your new sleep pattern to kick-in. How about the Northern English and Scottish people who are also bound by the GMT rules even though they are many miles away from Greenwich?

GMT for me, statistics prove that there are more road casualties and energy consumption increases.

Keep clocks the same all year round as I think we are messing around with science. Years ago it was alright, most people only had one clock in the house and probably one watch, but now all gagets in the home have clocks. I had to adjust 18 clocks in our house including cars and 4 watches. What a nightmare, leave the clocks alone.
