Chasetown kept their FA Cup hopes alive with another giant-killing act this afternoon.
The Scholars beat Nuneaton 2-1 thanks to goals either side of half time from John Branch and Dean Perrow.
Branch broke the deadlock a minute before half-time and Charlie Blakemore’s side were in dreamland 50 seconds into the second half when Perrow flicked home.
Matty Collins (68) pulled one back for Nuneaton.
The Scholars reward was an away game at Team Bath in the first round proper.

I thought Chasetown were, again, fantastic today. They’ve really made a name for themselves, their pride and spirit is second to none, just think, a few years ago chasetown were a struggling midlands alliance side. Up the Chasetown !
