Willenhall keeper returns

Willenhall Town FCMel Eves will welcome back keeper Steve Jackson for tomorrow’s clash with Romulus as Willenhall bid to end a run of five games without a win.

The shot-stopper missed the midweek draw at Rothwell Town because of university commitments.

But he is set to replace former Rushall keeper Ryan Price between the sticks at Noose Lane for the British Gas Business League Division One meeting.

“Ryan did a good job for us on Wednesday, but Steve will be back for the weekend,” confirmed Eves.

Although Willenhall’s home form has been impressive in the league, Eves reckons Romulus will prove awkward opponents.

“Romulus have been going very well,” he added.

“We know what kind of side they are. They are very dangerous so we know we will have to be at our best.”
