Ron Atkinson’s return to football was ruined by Brackley as Halesowen suffered their second cup exit in a week.

Paul Devlin missed the chance to put Halesowen in front when he drove wide.

Brackley took a 21st minute lead when Danny Spencer nodded home Tom Winters’s cross.

Halesowen hit the post twice within a minute through Lee Williams and Kevin Spencer. Craig Farley sealed it, rifled home from the edge of the area on 88.
