Willenhall boss Mel Eves is facing a striker crisis ahead of tonight’s Birmingham Senior Cup clash with Walsall.
Eves is without five frontmen for the Noose Lane showdown as Tyrone Barnett, Ben Stoner and Stuart Skitt are all injured, John Williams is cup tied and Craig Gregg is unavailable.
It means the Lockmen may have to field centre back Todd Perry as a makeshift partner for teenager Justin Nesbitt, while assistant manager Joe O’Connor could be set for a cameo from the bench.
Eves said: “It would be nice to have some more firepower to put up against Walsall.
“It will be a good test for us because Walsall will put a strong side out and if our lads aren’t at it then we could get find out.”
