Stourport Swifts boss Phil Mullen is hoping the return of striker Craig Marshall helps to spark a revival in time for their crunch clash with Malvern tomorrow.
Swifts have suffered back-to-back defeats this week - crashing out of the Errea Cup two days after being thrashed by Romulus - and they have left Mullen at a low ebb.
He took heart from an improved defensive display in the Cup clash with Evesham but accepts they have to start winning soon - or get dragged into a relegation fight.
Forward Marshall is back and there will be a late fitness test for Alex Lavery ahead of the Malvern tie, which Mullen admits they need to win.
“Even at this early stage of the season it is a game that we could with winning,” he said.
“They are down there with us and it would be a huge boost to come away with something. I’ll have Craig Marshall back which is a big plus because him and West Joyce are the partnership I would like to have in the league.”
