Despite Chasers putting out a strong line-up in the Wolverhampton District Netball League, Sapphires excelled themselves and produced good attacking play to win 34-16.
PHX in division 2 experienced their first defeat of the season against Penn Outsiders who now field a combined squad of their own and the old Twisters players.
Of the 15 matches this week, eight final scores were within five goals of each other.
Grasshoppers continue to show desire although seemingly outclassed in division 1 while Chasers Ladies suffered defeat at the hands of their own Junior team.
One of the highlights is the continued success of the recently-promoted Baggeridge Bullets.
The tremendous sportsmanship of their supporters, who praise for the opposition as well, are an example to all.
