Willenhall boss Mel Eves insists his players are desperate to make the most of their FA Cup second chance tonight.
The Lockmen face Barnt Green Spartak in a Noose Lane replay after being reinstated to the competition after it emerged the Worcestershire side unknowingly fielded an ineligible player in the initial tie, which they won 3-2.
And Eves insists his side are determined not to repeat their earlier mistakes when they lock horns again with the Midland Combination outfit.
“The players are all looking forward to it as they were disappointed to have made a mess of it the first time,” said Eves.
“These things happen in the cup and all credit to Barnt Green - but my players are ready for this second chance.”
Eves, who will be without cup-tied new signing John Williams and unavailable duo Steve Palmer and Craig Gregg, is hoping for a bumper crowd to cheer the Lockmen on.
“We would love to see a few more people come down to see how we are going and the improvements we have made.”
