White horse took an early lead kicking down hill at Darlaston f.c.’s ground with Colin plant scoring at the back post, un-marked from a free-kick on the right.
Most of the chances fell to willenhall first half with Michael Taylor hitting the underside of the white horse crossbar and rebounding out.
White horse keeper made various saves to deny willenhall any chance of equalizing, Half time 1 - 0.
Second Half, Willenhall started early and had a succession of corners, then about the 60th minute willenhall striker Michael Taylor scored from an acute angle in the six yard box.
White horse had spells of possession and couldn’t score.
Then Michael Taylor broke down the left wing and crossed a ball to Shaun Pugh who glanced a header into the top right corner, willenhall 1-2 up.
The game then was close with white horse putting three up front and having some chances, but the willenhall defense stood tall, a shot from Colin plant was goal bound with a deflection from Shaun Gregory’s boot, aiming bottom corner, was saved at full stretch by willenhall keeper, Darren Cleaver.
Willenhall then continued to clear the danger until the end of the match.
