Eves can’t wait for match

eves.jpg Boss Mel Eves admits Willenhall can’t wait to get back into action against Barton Rovers tomorrow.

The Lockmen haven’t played since losing at Dunstable a fortnight ago after being without a fixture on FA Cup qualifying round day last weekend.

But Eves just hopes that means his troops aren’t ring rusty against a side fancied strongly to be among the promotion challengers.

“We’re looking forward to it,” said Eves, who is hopeful of having a full strength side available.

“It could have been an easier game to come back into because Barton are above us in the league and have started the season very well.

“They’ve had a big investment into the club so we know it will be a very difficult game.”
