New jobs will be created with the opening of budget fashion shop Peacocks in the Black Country later this month.
Peacocks will open its doors on September 27 with a store in the Market Place, Dudley.
The unveiling of the store will be a big boost for the town centre, attracting bargain clothes hunters and creating 20 jobs.
It will be the second branch of the chain in the borough as the clothing giant recently opened up at the Merry Hill centre.
Store manager Carolle Lee Jones said: “We are looking forward to trading in Dudley. We think there is a lot of potential in the town and it will be a boost for businesses.
“As the new season’s ranges start to appear in the shops, fashionistas will be rubbing their hands with glee at the array of new styles and trends available to them.”
The opening follows a wave of retail job opportunities in the borough in recent months. Popular discount fashion chain Primark opened at Merry Hill in May, taking on 265 staff in part-time through to management roles.
Well-known bakers Greggs has generated nearly 30 positions with its new branch at the centre.
Peacocks has more than 470 stores in the UK.
