The Pitmen were lucky to survive the FA Cup match against Stratford Town as Rory May missed enough chances to win the game on his own.
The Warwickshire side would have travelled home wondering how they are not yet through to the next round after May failed to score with a close range header in added time.
With Simon Forsdick moving to AFC Telford Phil Starbuck gave a first start to Chris Adam after a number of substitute appearances.
Gary Sucharewycz recovered sufficiently to also start his first game of the season. The two teams will now replay at Solihull Moors FC.
