BEACON League newcomers AC Harborne bagged their first three points of the season with a fine 3-0 victory over Barley Mow Wanderers in the BTH Boiler Services Division One.

Home side Harborne bounced back from last week’s opening day defeat to Darby End thanks to goals from Scott Thomas, Hussein Mowahed and Tom Haycock.

Sedgley White Lions East also went one better than their first match draw by putting five past Pensnett Panthers.

Four goals from Andy Jones and a fifth from Robert Trinder made sure of the points.

Pensnett were limited to just a Craig Jukes goal in reply thanks to an impressive defensive display from Sedgley.

An Anders McFarlen winner gave St Chads Old Boys a vital 2-1 victory over Village Hotel.

His strike, midway through the second half, was enough to seal the points after the sides had previously cancelled each other out.

Portobello Royal Oak shared the points with Darby End after the sides battled out a 0-0 draw. Windsor Old Boys claimed an impressive away day victory by beating Great Barr Galaxy 6-2.

Codsall Athletic came out on top of an eight-goal thriller with Wombourne Wanderers in Call Print Division Two.

Wombourne had opened the scoring with a Gary Williams goal. However, Codsall then stormed into a 4-1 lead thanks to four goals from Josh Wright.

Never-say-die Wombourne cut the lead and put themselves back in the game with goals from Matt Cole and Mike Fellows.

But victory was sealed for Codsall after James Pearce restored a two-goal cushion to give them a 5-3 win.

A brace from Liam Dudley helped Verson Park Rangers to a 5-1 win against TC United. Danny Radford, John Higgs and Ashley Tooth also hit the net for Verson Park.

TC United hit a consolation through Simon Adams.

Four goals from Thomas Slade, a brace from Dwain Turner and a Shaun Saunders strike gave The Wanderer an impressive 7-0 win over Enterprise Eagles.

Oakdale Social claimed their first three points of the campaign with a 6-2 win against Sedgley Park.

Two goals from Daniel Timmins set up a good victory for the home side. Craig Bachelor, Mark Smith, Gary Lloyd and Paul Gibbs also got on the scoresheet for Oakdale.

Sedgley Park pulled two back thanks to French and Hickman. Jolly Sailor brushed passed Wolverhampton Wanderers Deaf with an 11-0 victory.

AFC Codsall got their Lawsons Premiership campaign off to a flying start with a 3-0 away win over Tipton Rovers.

Ryan Edmunds, Liam Brookes and Mark Elson all got on the scoresheet to give Codsall the points.

Two goals from Steven Warley, including a late penalty equaliser, rescued a point for Bilbrook Rangers in their game with Navigation.

An early Darren Treasure goal gave Navigation the lead, which was soon cancelled out by Ryan Bradshore for Bilbrook.

Navigation then gave themselves a two-goal lead through Chris Brown and Anthony Park.

However, Warley’s brace made it 3-3 with only minutes left. Goals from Chris Clarke, Jimmy Nichols and Jody Bradnick gave Shippies a 3-0 half time lead over Sedgley White Lions West.

The points were secured in the second period when Ashley Causer completed the scoring to give Shippies a 4-0 home win.

Smethwick Heating and Sedgley White Lions played out a 0-0 draw.
