Wolves skipper Peter Karlsson says that the club must improve their away record if they are to break into the play-off picture.
Wolves travel to Poole on Wednesday for an Elite League ‘B’ fixture looking to capitalise on some unexpected vulnerability of the Pirates at Wimborne Road of late.
Poole’s last four home matches have produced close results, and only last week they were taken to a last-heat decider by lowly Belle Vue, who snatched the aggregate bonus point from the title hopefuls.
Karlsson said: “Losing to Peterborough at home gave us a dent, and we need to pull something out of the hat away, but we haven’t got many away matches left to shoot at.”
Parrys International Wolves are at full strength for the trip to the South coast, whilst Poole revert to their regular line-up after Piotr Swist missed Monday’s ‘A’ match at Monmore Green having crashed in Poland.
