Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey today reinforced the club’s pledge not to pay over the odds for their top transfer targets as he admitted the market is “over-inflated”.
It emerged yesterday that Scunthorpe forward Billy Sharp - a priority target for boss Mick McCarthy - has snubbed a Molineux move in favour of rejoining boyhood club Sheffield United.
Disappointment over Sharp could be tempered by clinching the signing of Southend’s Freddy Eastwood, with sources close to the player adamant that a deal to take him to Molineux remains in the offing.
And while Moxey refuses to be drawn on either Sharp or Eastwood, he has reiterated the club’s desire not be forced down a route that has seen them burnt in the transfer market in the past.
“The prospective owner (Steve Morgan), myself and Mick McCarthy have all stressed that we are working hard behind the scenes and we expect to announce signings soon,” he said today.
“But we have also said we will not pay over the odds for players in a market we think is over-inflated.
Interest
“There are one or two players attracting interest from several places but we will only pay what we believe is right for a particular player and if that means we don’t sign one player then so be it,” he said. “In that situation We will go out and sign somebody else instead.”
With a clutch of ambitious Championship clubs battling for a pool of forwards, prices have been driven up.
Southend are believed to have slapped a £2m price tag on Eastwood, while the player-plus-cash deal that looks set to take Sharp to Bramall Lane will be close to the £2.5m mark.
Wolves’ remaining striker targets include Sunderland’s Stephen Elliott, Kyle Lafferty and Leeds man David Healey, and they want to make at least one permanent signing before the campaign kicks off on August 11.
They are also lining up loan deals for promising Premiership starlets, and expect to know more about their availability when clubs return for pre-season next week.

We won’t pay over the odds and that’s why we’ve missed out on Sharp and probably going to miss out on Eastwood!
I’m sick of this, GET MOXEY OUT!!
While it is almost certain that Sharp will soon be blades player Scunthorpe have not yet received a bid from Sheff Utd according to the Iron’s official site. So how can he have already signed? We need to sign Eastwood a.s.a.p.
I agree we should not pay over the odds for players however this is coming from a man who was paid a massive bonus for selling Henry Camera to Wigan. Ok he did well with that deal but thats his job!!!!!!! Which he gets paid a shed load to do the best he can.
A proven goalscorer cost money and Eastwood will not be bought on the cheap. Just sign him up and sort this out now, getting very tedious.
…like missing out on quality players and paying over the odds for rubbish….
quality is a scarce resource Moxey, pay for it
Well said Jez, ignore the pointless abuse fans are giving u. the southbank fans are very bitter and stubborn folk! u are doing the right thing and im sure MM will bring the best out of who ever we sign!
Moxey is on the money.
Let’s not repeat the errors of the past.
IN MM, who’s initials reversed, make WW (Wolverhampton Wanderers!!)WE TRUST!!!
we pay you over the odds mr moxey
What price premiership football? Never guaranteed, we know, but an extra £1m to £2m can make all the difference to the end result. If ever there was a time………
“Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey today reinforced the club’s pledge not to pay over the odds for their top transfer targets”
This is how ambitious the dingles are when you wont even pay decent wages for a good striker. Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday have better promotion hopes than you.
Its not about boyhood clubs. Its about money why he wont come to the custard bowl.
Boing Boing. LOSERS!!!!
Trouble is you sometimes have to go that extra yard, if we refuse to budge an inch we will end up getting no one.
at the end of the day we need a proven goal scorer what price is it we pay if we don’t get onE!!!!!!
We have done better in the past year looking for hungry ‘bargin bucket’ players than when we paid fortunes for the likes of Mark Kennedy and Tony Daley. It is good to see this policy is continuing.
Well there’s a surprise! Another deal gone south thanks to Moxley!
Does this sound familiar? Once upon a time we were a football club, now we are a business. If you don’t invest in the playing side you don’t reap the rewards. Jez, do you remember the premiership lack of investment? Same old song I’m afraid
Same old wolves last in the que ,penny pinching again. Bet your glad you announced the takeover months ago to tempt fans into buying season tickets. one big con again.
SUPER- SUPER JEZ!
something smellsiffy about this whole deal. Billy’s agent has opened upan auction. Billy wants Sheffield united so his agent has put the word out that he has signed even though scunthorpe say no bid has been made just sheer propaganda i just hope the club that gets him finds he is worth all of this.
Do true wolves fans a favour moxey and leave.
moxeys comments says it all to me,no takeover deal yet done so no big money to spend,i rest my case.
rgds
MOXEY IS NO BETTER THAN JEREMY PEACE.TO TIGHT TO TAKE A GAMBLE ON YOUNG PLAYERS.WILL PAY OUT FOR SO CALLED HAS BEENS.WHAT YA THINK WOLVES FANS.
Wolves wont pay over odds!!!!
Then Moxey justify YOUR wage bill!!!
I agree with not paying over the odds, but there is a fine line between paying over the odds, and being “penny wise, pound foolish”! In my mind, it is most important to look at the big picture, which is to get the right team in place to secure promotion. Spending an extra half a million to put that team together before pre-season training so they can gel as a team and take the season by storm from the outset … priceless! Spend a little extra now to secure the right team, or spend (waste) it in January on panic buys because we’re not scoring enough (as usual)? Which will it be Jez? Let’s learn from past seasons’ mistakes. Sure, don’t pay over the odds, but let’s not be too cheap either. Good players cost money and other clubs will pay it if we don’t.
Jez has zero idea about building a soccer team for the premiership. Look what a debacle when wolves last got there? spending little got the team relegated and lost millions and millions. If they had spent a couple million to save 10 million (the amount they lost be being relegated) we would still be in there with the REAL teams, Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal, not messing with Ipswich and Norwich. He must go and soon or it will, as I mentioned yesterday, a couple lads currently kicking cans around the street for us!Jez is totally out of his league, he could take out of his overinflated salary the money for the new players, nah, bleed wolves dry..when wolves went down, it doesn’t appear his salary went down, in fact appears IT WENT UP! well done Jack…you done good, but not for wolves…just how did you make money? must have been a fluke, in some cases people suceed in spite of themselves…
Once again the vultures gather around the club i see.Aside from the fiasco with the albion/south bank situation i feel the club has made massive strides on and off the pitch. If we want to continue this improvement people need to show patience for example the two players already joining completed without any fuss more of the same please Mr Moxey.
All very well but…No decent Signings, Promotion will be all the more difficult. People may be saying defence defence defence, but it was the goal scoring that let us down last season albeit a remarkably good season considering. We failed to finish teams off were if we did we would be looking to buy premiership quality players now not Championship. So, I think Jez needs to go the extra yard or so to get Freddie or we will for sure be punished and risk the fans turning on the board mid-season. Mick has pointed out the targets and now the board must do what is right and strengthen in a way that will see us out of the starting blocks full pelt
Lets get rid of Moxey and get Peter Ridsdale in. He’ll pay over the odds for everything and in a couple of years we could be where Leeds are now!
No Sam i’m sure if we miss out on Sharp it is nothing to do with the money Moxey put up, it will have more to do with playing for his boyhood team and also with Sheff Utd theres no sell-on-clause to negotiate with Sheff Utd as there would be with us!!
How on earth can any one bad mouth Moxey or the board as they don’t know how much we officialy have bid for Sharp or any other player just as the papers say.
For instance, Sheff Utd apparantly bid for Sharp 8 weeks ago and it has only just come out, so who is to say we didnt have a bigger money offer on the table??
Its good to see some people with the right idea and agreeing with Mick and Jez.
People just seem to get these mad ideas that everyone that comes available we should buy, and if we dont get everyone for how ever much money it takes it is Jezs fault, i mean i saw some Wolves fans moaning about leicester signing all these players that we should!! I mean Chambers??
We will see what Mick has up his sleeve, where will all the doubters be if Sharp fails to match his lge1 form or gets injured? Sure they will all be quiet in there abscence!!
I mean I am not Jezs number one fan, i’e giving the soutbank away, but he has run the club well, if we were paying over the odds we would be doing a Leeds and who would want that????
Up the Wolves!!
Good call Jez.
Whether or not £2m was too much is upto him and MM to decide. We have boughts loads of rubbish over the last 10 years. At last we have drawn a line in the sand.
Now lets find some more quality bargains like Kightly and Keogh. Good luck Mick.
Up the Wolves!!
Ron Davies -
Remember who Glenn Hoddles final piece in the jigsaw was to get us promoted???
Exactly I rest my case!!
Sharp isn’t going to guarantee us Premiership football a 20/30+ goal scorer is what ever his name may be!!
Yes - Moxey’s wages: £350k basic + add-ons for ‘performance’ for a small business?
If you sack enough team managers, sooner or later, you are bound to get a good one - which we have!
Also it’s not difficult to avoid making a loss; just don’t spend anything on transfers (amortised) and wages and get the ‘mugs’ to buy season tickets with empty promises. Margin retreat, here we come; too little, too often Jez - on yer bike please!
Problem is the same for wolves and Albion; balancing the books. Neither club is awash with cash and even if you get 30 milion invested, as is possible if club is sold, you won’t see much of that allocated for transfers. It will be released in stages and McCarthy wil have to queue up for his handout along with others at Molineux. It will take shrewd buys and a bit of luck to get the best value for money and not throwing millions at every Tom, Dick or Harry who can kick a ball. Remember what happened at Leeds!
“Wolves wont pay over odds!!!!
Then Moxey justify YOUR wage bill!!!”
Well said.
Hey Wolfgang,
his initials reversed are still MM. But we know what you mean mate.
Moxey has a lot to prove really, if he is to win the trust of the fans back. But this deal is a very complicated legal labyrinth. If it is next week or the week after I think it will come as the headline ” new owner, new players, new corners”
they are going to build this tantalising hype into some massive announcement.
The fact of the matter is that Sharp didn’t want to come to us. Even if he did, would a 5ft 9, 11st striker cut it in the premiership? Can’t see that there is an abundance of small strikers making the grade at that level. Like all, I too have knocked Moxey ion the past. However, since the Camara deal he has done the business. After Frankowski, Mark Atkins, Bob Taylor, how many over-hyped players do the knockers want us to buy? The kid is not proven, wants to join his home town club and that is the end of it. Rather than looking for someone to knock, support the club, be patient and when the deals happen get back the team. Or alternatively…..off.
You know I’m a wolves fan..I’m not surprised we’re called the Dingles with the sort of clap trap I read on here..Fans who have no idea, just making assumptions and blaming Moxey.
Get a life….and show a bit of patience and trust with the people running our beautiful club. I bet half you lot that rattle on about sack the board and he’s no good….Never even go to the games!!!
Up the wolves…we’re united as one
Lots of talk about not paying over the odds and not breaking the bank - next thing it will be you have to sell before you buy… which is fine if you have players other teams want - but you don’t.
You keep trusting in peanut M&M and watch the Baggies walk all over you again next season.
Surely the time is now to invest some of Mr. Morgan’s pledged £30M? we should be in a position to out bid most of the Championship clubs!
Some fans annoy the hell out of me. Last season, we were all onboard with what the club was doing.
Pre-Morgan, we’d ALL be saying ‘well done, stick to your guns Jez and Mick, get in hungry players and dont waste the clubs money’. We’dve been happy not to be paying over 2 million for players, in fact, we’d be insisting we dont pay that much on one, when it could get us a team full of Kightly’s and Keogh’s.
Now Morgan is promising to put money into the club, the idiots are out and running loose again.
NOTHING has changed from last season. Mick and Moxey are sticking to the same plan, the one we all got behind last season, the one that will secure the long term future of the club, and will bring sucess and a team we are proud of.
Morgans money needs to be used very wisely and in small ammounts. Thats what they seem to be doing.
Can the money obsessed fans of the 90’s please go back to the cave they were hiding in last season.
Just for some of those saying we lost out on sharp because we didnt offer the right money.
That is not the reason we lost out, Sheff Utd were interested 8 weeks ago and they are his club. If they came in thats the only place he was gonna end up!
Wolves would have eventually offered the money anyways because norwich already had, we would have matched there offer.
We were his fall back option incase sheff utd didnt come in and they have, Its not anyone at the clubs fault.
However i am with some of you who wish to just snap eastwood up now for 2million if thats the cost. I couldent care less at the moment if thats paying over the odds.. the truth is we needed one of them and theres now only one available.
Earnshaw (proven goal scorer) has gone to Premiership Derby for 3.5m
What we want to know is what is Moxeys version of the “true value” of a proven goal scorer in the Championship?
Whilst we believe in Merlin Mick - the man can only do so much even with his hands tied! No one can say whether its down to Moxey or if Moxeys taking instructions to not go OTT with transfers BUT we hope that Wolves allow MM the capacity to bring in a couple proven goal scorers - and in our view they wont come cheap! (Less than £1.5m?)
We believe that we WILL see movement on or around July 1st as players contracts would have expired etc etc and thats when most transfers happen
Keep the Faith!!!
Up the Wolves!!!
Cant believe all our messing around has seen us potentially miss out again. We seem to make a habbit of this, remember the Hoddle era his 2 main targets if i recall were Rasiak and Idiakez and guess what we got neither… I really do hope im wrong but as the Bent sale has officially been completed today i believe Freddie Eastwood could well sign for charlton within the next week, like i said before i really do hope im wrong… MOXEY OUT!!!!
Derby sign £3.5m striker Earnshaw, this will give the other budgies more clout over Freddie…we need to move fast….again
Some people seem to forget the huge strides we made as a club last year. Since when were Sharp and Eastwood the saviours of Wolves? Its as if people are assuming that they are the answer and nobody else could possibly do the job. If we produce football like we did last year, I couldn’t care less who Mick signs.
Do we ever learn. We have spent over the odds for decades.
Time for change. Well donr Moxey.
Moxey is doing the job he has been employed to do to SAVE money never mind the team. As HE said when we came down from the Premiership we made a profit (out of which he did very nicely thank you)if we had stayed up we would have made a loss.(According to HIM) That’s is thinking for you and it will never change.I still think we had a stroke of good fortune last season with the team playing as well as it did and I hope it continues this season. It certainly saved Moxey some hassle.Fan’s will be looking for promotion now and that will put a different outlook on matters. No matter what happens MOXEY will keep his job. GOOD LUCK WOLVES
BIG savings BIG BONUS for the CHIEF EXECUTIVE? And a new jag’
WE’RE BEING ROBBED!!OH I’m FORGETTING, WE GOT A PIE & A PINT!!
If these post are anything to go by, looks like we are returning to the bad old days, loads of internal bickering with the fans not united. If we sign Eastwood or another proven striker, expectations will be through the roof, automatic promotion ect.. then if results don’t go our way it will be blame the players, blame everybody except ourselves, the supporters for not being united. Lets face it, who ever is chief exe will be getting a load of grief, it’s a thankless job, do you really thing he makes all these decisions alone? As for these baggies fans, looks like they cannot bare to look at their own site as the vultures are gathering fast, still if it keeps them happy being here with a team that’s buying, not selling and on the way up…. UP THE WOLVES
Moxey you need to know, to get players you have to pay the money. Or again we will miss out on our targets. You can’t say there is no money again, we all know there is, so get your hands in your very deep pockets and get the deals done.
Perfectly put Jay, what short memories some people seem to have.
wolves wont get promotion while jez is there and steve morgan will realise this in time . then he will act . beleve me jez will soon be on thin ice
have got to get striker an soon. eastwood always a better bet tan sharp..proven at championship level
strong and good in the air…please
not david healy .
investment is required for a 20 goal a season man.
HEY, WHAT SELLS SEASON TICKETS ??This division is basically a level playing field. With thwe exception of Charlton. We only need to tweek the squad, another 2 or 3 players in with the same going out.
WHAT WE DO NEED IS - A REGULAR GOALSCORER, and they don’t come cheap. A proven 1 even more costly (out of our reach).
Holding your nerve is vital-but what is key, is how the club is sold to a player.
2m is on the money for Eastwood inc add ons.Healy should be available for 750k - 1m.
1 MORE WEEK - and it’ll be hold on to your hats.” STAY POSITIVE “!!
Carry on with this policy. dont pay ovr the odds!
Moxey may be a nightmare, and we have all suffered, but the policy this year seems to be working. He may be on damn good money (ours i might add), but for once he has a plan let him play it. When he screws up again we can call for his head
Its like I,ve said in the past Moxley is an accountant not a Football man.Now Norwich have sold Earnshaw you can kiss goodbye to Eastwood no ambition whats the good of 30 million if you,ve got Moxley running the show.
every fan of every club in every division is hoping their club signs this player or that player, get real folks! signings will happen when they suit all concerned. whoever we do or don’t sign i’m 100% behind the club!
“Some people seem to forget the huge strides we made as a club last year. Since when were Sharp and Eastwood the saviours of Wolves? Its as if people are assuming that they are the answer and nobody else could possibly do the job. If we produce football like we did last year, I couldn’t care less who Mick signs.”"
Come on guys, its like getting to the moon and not being able how to figure out how to walk on it?
typical moaning wolves fans… moan moan moan. “we want gems that from non-league..” “we want multi-million £ over-priced and over hyped strikers like eastwood”…. let’s face it, eastwod is average at best, as is billy sharpe. We need to worry about the service to the forwards, then we’ll see how good/bad our forwards are. Jarvis will prove to be one o our best signings in years, guaranteed
There’s no doubt that spending money on big names in the past did not work & MM proved last season that by bringing in players who are young & hungry you can get much more from them in terms of effort, last season also proved however that the inability to finish teams off because of poor finishing cost us promotion, whilst I agree that we should not pay way over the odds we may well have to pay a little more than we would like to get the quality of a player like Eastwood, my only hope is that all this talk of signings is not another of Moxeys plans to increase season ticket sales, a cynical point of view I know but one Moxeys used to great effect in the past as we well know.
i still think we need a 20/30 goal machine so we realy need to to get eastwood in and spend a bit of money before its to late
How stupid is the club going to look at the end of next season when eastwood and sharp both get over 20 goals each and we miss out on promotion again due to lack of goals. an extra couple of million could get us up and we all know how much money thta results in! am i missing sometging here?
What Mick wants is young hungry players who want to play for the shirt,we dont want the money grabbers that we have signed in the past.Keogh £600,000 bargain of the century,he will improve and prove to be better than sharp.Wolves have some great teenagers coming through,a fit gobern will be like a new signing.Maybe the £30 million will turn out to be a millstone of expectation which will and as started to split the fans.Trust in Mick, Howards a shrewd businessman and will have is finger on the pulse. But lets not forget without Sir Jacks interference and the true fans wolverhampton Wanderers would not exist.some people have very short memories.Love you forever Sir Jack.
i agree with the majority of fans Moxey out. Moxey if you read this then “speculate to accumilate”
having just looked at all the comments on here [JAY I HAVE TO SAY MATE WELL SAID] just because we have a bit of cash now does that mean we have to start to pay more than players ar worth and get in to bidding wars !! we all no how easy it is to go the whey of clubs like leeds now dont we????
Moxey, AKA Ebenezer Scrooge, take a short walk up to Queen Sq, I’m sure one of the banks will give you a job, after all they don’t like parting with money either. Let’s hope Steve Morgan wakes up and smells the coffee and shows Moxey the red card.
we need to move quick on eastwood.
i back JM and MM on their shrewdness in an overinflated market but the initial offer to southend for eastwood was a joke if not insulting.
Wouldnt be suprised if southend drag us over the coals and then sell to someone else now (AND I WOULDNT BLAME THEM).
a very annoyed wolf
From a mere money point of view Moxey has got it wrong. If you need a house now you pay what they are asking. If not you put your money into shares or something else. Wolves need the players NOW and therfore they need to pay the price or get out of the game and do something else. If Sharpe or any target is seen as the right player then for goodness sake pay the price. A 1M.pound gamble for a minimum of a 30m pound payoff is good odds.
jez how mush did you pay for the injury prone carl carl i think it was 2.2 million and u sold him for how much o ye u relised him you spent that much on him so y not fresh young talent someone hus not here for the money but for the opurtinity to wear OLD GOLD AND BLACK !!!
I am staggered to read some of the idiotic comments of so-called Wolves ‘fans’ on here. We have already signed an excellent prospect in Jarvis and it sounds like Elliot is also a done deal. Why are people starting to panic? The season starts on August 11 - not next week.
Ok - so we appear to have missed out on Sharp. The lad has signed for the club he supported as a boy - who can blame him?
Moxey is spot-on - we cannot spend overinflated prices on players. All the agents know we have Morgan’s millions in the bank and they will be willing to stich us up good and proper if we give them so much as a hint that we have gone back to the daft old days of spend, spend, spend.
To all those morons calling for Moxey’s head - do us all a favour and shut up! Have the last 15 years taught you nothing? Spending big in this league DOES NOT WORK. What will work is McCarthy continuing his revolution of booting out the big time charlies and forging a team that is united, proud to wear the shirt and willing to give 110%.
For God’s sake - stop the bickering and have some faith. McCarthy hasn’t let us down in the transfer market yet and now he has the money to compete with any other club in this league he will be able to do an even better job.
Good things come to those who wait. Show some support and stop the tiresome, predictable, boring moaning. This is new Wolves and if you can’t get behind the new ethos of the club then take your poison somewhere else.
I do not post on here much but always read with interest. I have had a season ticket for as long as i can remember and ready a lot of the posts is like being in the South Bank in the old days when fans were fighting themselves. “Sack Moxey” - “Love Moxey”. “Love Billy Sharp get him at all costs”, “stuff him as he was overpriced”. My concern is that no Premiership club has ever been linked with either Eastwood or Sharp, they are both unproven. Potential goes a long way and it has worked for Kightly but my worry is that the expectation on those two lads at Wolves could have seen them crash and burn. Of all the forwards Wolves have been linked with, if i could have the choice, i would have had Cureton (remember he was top scorer by miles in the division last year and would have been a snip at less than 500k even though he is 31) and Healy who is also internationally proven and is worth what 500k too. Everyone says that we should buy young and hungry which is good but a bit too unrealistic, lets be honest.
‘Wolves won’t pay over the odds’ - who’s over the odds? Looking at todays valuation of strikers £2m for Eastwood is actually a good price aint it? The going rate for a 20-goal-a-season striker is probably £2m-£3m. Eastwood is a steal at £2m, he scored more goals than Nugent did last season and Nugent’s worth £7m+. Southend will not let Eastwood go for less than £2m. They, like us, want to recieve a much as possible for their player. If we do ‘pay over the odds’ but we get promoted in the very near future, it will have paid off. You never know Eastwood / Sharp playing against us may cost us promotion? Imagine them scoring the goals to fire someone else into the Prem at the expence of us! Moxey shows no ambition if he can’t gamble on a player and pay a little more than he would like, this way we’ll never sign anyone worth signing.
have read all the posts and feel i have to put my tuppeny worth in…
everyone has opinions, comments, advice and think whats best for the club.
Non of us are professional football chairman, chief executives or managers, ever stopped to wonder why?
The guys that run wolves, spend the money, build, coach and assemble our football team with all that that involves are there for a reason.
Thats what they do, and they do it because they know more than any of us about getting the job done, thats their proffesion, they know best so leave them to do it.
Im a marine engineer and i dont expect a footballing proffesional to advise, tell or criticise me about how i should best do my job, why? because im qualified, experienced and know better.
Hope ive made my point.
let them get on with their jobs..and they will in any case.
just remember this we only paid £350,000 for Dean Sturidge which could be one of the best strikers we have seen since we paid £65,000 for Steve Bull, You could say you need top players to be a top team but money cant buy this(Chelsea)
it really does anger me when i see so called wolves fans sticking up for moxey, I suspect these are not so true wolves fans, moxey is an excellent business man, but thats not good for his position at wolves, ask any Stoke city fan, we would be premiership now if moxey had gone before promotiom.
lets stay positive and become a united set of fans lets back the board and mick mccarthy.
keep the faith!
i realy don’t see how fans can say (JUST PAY THE MONEY) in the end its the fans that pay and i for one think that we allready pay to much!!!
murray

bring it on !!!
typical moxey, always bringing up the money side of things, doesnt this show what it means for the future signings. bargain basement. keep the faith in merlin mick
up the wolves
what if sharp or eastwood fail to deliver the goods us fans will turn around and say what a load of rubbish and blame it on moxey.
steve bull might have been a good player but he did not return us to top flight unlike dougan who did not get a stand named after him.
Make sure the headline is not two words too long.
Mark - We have a cheaply assembled team. Ok granted the players are young and hungry but its cheaply assembled all the same. On top of this we pay just under £500 for a season ticket each, matching some premiership outfits.
Excuse me if I want to see at least a bit of transfer activity and a bit of money spent making the team better. If there is a 20 goal a season striker which we can spend 2 million on to get for the next few years then I say just spend the money to get him. Otherwise where does the money go from ticket sales…… ok wages and stuff but with our wage structure there is some left over for transfers surely!
adie baker: It probaly takes more to be a ‘qualified’ marine engineer than to be a CEO of a basket-ball club?
Wanderers4 prem: Glenn who - I never hired him and if Jez had asked my opinion, I would have told him that I didn’t think he had the fight to get out of this division. Are you implying tat Big Mick is of the same quality, because if he is, why listen to him either?
IT IS NOT MOXEYS FAULT. WE COULD OFFER £5MILLION FOR EASTWOOD AND HE WILL STILL GO WHERE HE WANTS TO GO. THE BIDDING PRICE IS IRELEVANT.
GET IT INTO YOU SKULL.
