I feel sorry forthe people who are affected by flooding but I dont think people will feel sorry for meas I bask in 100 degree heat

I wonder if basking in 100 degrees of heat is any consolation for living in Turkey!
Seriously, though, global warming does seem to have changed the weather patterns around the world. Last year there were very serious floods in central and eastern Europe, as I recall. This year we have experienced similar conditions in western Europe. May and June in our area of France has seen cool, overcast weather, when we normally are enjoying hot and sunny conditions. Something is going on up there.
I am disgusted that the Government has not issued a national emergency disaster fund. Many of the people involved can no longer afford insurance, and people like myself, who are very fortunate in not being affected, would be pleased to help out those unfortunate victims. I feel very strongly about this. I am certain that if this had happened in another country, we would have had a national appeal. So why not now, to help out our fellow countryman?

Don’t have a fund, it will never reach the right people.
