Group all set for Wilde night

wildefull.jpgActors in a Black Country drama group are deadly earnest over the importance of their latest play.

After months of rehearsal, the curtain is due to rise tonight on the All Saints’ Players production of an Oscar Wilde classic.

The Importance Of Being Earnest is one of the most popular and often performed plays on the British stage, and amateur stage fans in West Bromwich, where the Players are based, are eagerly looking forward to performing the Victorian period piece.

Tickets for the show, which runs all week, have mostly sold out although there are still some seats left for tonight’s performance.

The production is being staged at All Saints Church, All Saints Way, up to and including Friday.

Inquiries about remaining tickets, priced at £4 or £3.50 for concessions, should be made to Ken on 0121 588 4786.

Thousands of fantastic holidays to choose from!
