Missy Elliott rocked the NIA with her hip-hop hits, fantastic dancers and her cool but family-friendly attitude.The US star brought her national tour to Birmingham last night and did not disappoint fans.
Having just released a greatest hits album, Missy performed a non-stop stream of tracks, including recent favourites Run This, Lose Control and a snatch of One Minute Man.
The artist, unique in appearance and musical style, wore her trademark baggy trousers and zip-up tracksuit-style top, heavily embellished.
There was glitter and bling aplenty, one top was decorated with a royal crown, her rings and bracelets were difficult to ignore and her glitzy trainers were eye-catching.
Missy’s boy and girl dancers were a show in themselves.
She signed t-shirts, bandanas, trainers and other bits and bobs and then threw the memorabilia out to lucky fans. The crowd loved her, and rightly so. What a show.
