Lily’s set to make us Smile

lilypa2.jpgControversial pop princess Lily Allen was today revealed as the latest big name to perform at Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall.The appearance by the pint-sized songstress follows announcements of city dates by a string of big names, such as The Killers, Keane and Paul Weller, which have sparked ticket mayhem among music lovers.

Sweet-faced Lily, who shocked the pop world by revealing she would celebrate her first number one by taking cocaine, is the daughter of British comedian and film star Keith Allen.

Appearing in a long list of hit films such as Shallow Grave and Twin Town, Keith Allen was also the man behind Fat Les’s England 1998 World Cup hit Vindaloo.

Lily, aged 21, has been inescapable over the last few months with her catchy summer anthem Smile storming the charts.
